Severe left shoulder/upper arm pain

anyone else has heard of or perhaps had, needing some input. I know we are not doctors but we hear and type so much that someone might have heard of similar. Any suggestions for severe higher back pain? It's around my left shoulder blade and goes into my chest. I've had severe CTS, mostly in the right hand for 20+ years. In recent weeks I have been waking up with severe hand pain, mostly in the middle, ring and little finger so bad I can barely make a fist.
