like the room was spinning out of control and I could not stop it. That lasted about 1 minute I think followed by terrible nausea. I thought I would throw up but didn't. Then it kind of subsided over the next couple hours, and now at the end of day I feel okay but still a little nauseous. Wow - what was THAT???? I've never had that experience before and I hope to never again! I started looking online but there are so many things that could cause this....one thing that did catch my eye is that it was a symptom of periomenopause. I am 45 so I guess that could make sense. Great!!! I could stand night sweats and crankiness or whatever, but if THIS is what I have to deal with, I'll never survive....it was truly horrible. I'm afraid to go to sleep thinking I'll wake suddenly again with that horrible dizziness and nausea. I was really scared when it was happening, too. I was actually thinking I was going to have to ask my teenage son to drive me to the ER....but then the worst of it was over ......Has anyone experienced this? Is this really a symptom of periomenopause? TIA
