I've been transcribing full-time for 25 years now, and slowly over the last several years my heel has begun to hurt. At first it was once in awhile, and it's gotten up to all the time now. I firmly believe it has to do with the constant foot pedal motion. I'm about to take it to my doctor, but I'm curious to see if anyone else gets this. You always hear of carpel tunnel and back/shoulder/neck pain from this work, but I've never heard of this. Am I unique?
;and I sure can't type in heels like the old days!
