Well, I'll be darned if I don't have a LITERAL pain in nether region these days and was hoping someone who has experienced what is apparently coccygitis might have some pointers for me.
I spend about 12-14 hours a day working at my computer. I have an ergo chair and I'm reasonably sure my entire workspace is ergo-friendly; however, every time I have to move in my chair or get up to use the restroom or something, the area all around my tailbone is swollen and sore, and it literally is almost numb to the point of pain, if that makes sense.
When I'm done working and move over to the couch to actually lay down and get off of my backside, the pain is just as bad lying on my back as it is sitting in my chair! I end up side-lying it for a couple of hours until the swelling subsides a bit and the "numbness/pain" goes down a bit.
Has anyone else had this and any suggestions to alleviate it?
TIA!
