Another poster and I were talking a couple of threads down about how the country needs to educate themselves about how congress works (or should work, I guess I should say). I found some sites if anyone's interested - some are quite lengthy (I've only made it to Part IV on the first one), but I thought this would be a good place to start the conversation. The first two are from 2007 and 2003 respectively, but I couldn't find anything more recent (if anyone finds something newer, please post!)
A good way to change things is to know how things work - once we know how they work, we can work together to change them - like 'just saying' said in a post, there are more of us than them and it's not too late to make a change.

I'm also including a site I found that explains campaign finance laws, federal and state. I haven't had time to get through much of it, so I don't know how much of it is legalese, but for anyone interested in discussing this, we could start another thread - maybe get some good ideas flowing :)

I know this may take some time, so if there are no objections, I'll move this post up the board every once in a while if anyone's still interested in discussing.
