Went in to the store to browse and saw the cutest 4th of July apron. It was royal blue and had "Made in the U.S.A" in a cute print on the front. I thought how cute would that look on the cook who is barbequeing on the 4th?!
Yep,you guessed it. The tag said, "Made in China."
I was so ticked!
MOST of the inventory in US stores is foreign made. Even the Christmas stuff. I am very aware and try as much as possible to "BUY AMERICAN". Since that was going to be an impulse buy, of course I did not purchase it.
With all of the outsourcing of jobs, etc. if we all could do our part, maybe we can help our economy just a teeny bit. I know it is going to take much more than that.
Don't want to turn this post into a political post, but How about you? Are you aware? Do you try to "BUY AMERICAN" whenever possible?
