Headline News, I think, is covering it. I'm not sure if they are going to carry it live or just "covering it." I hope they cover it live. Seeing the trial first-hand is much more enlightening IMO, than sound bites here and there.

I live in Florida and during the Anthony trial I was able to watch live via feed from an Orlando station when I could. I'm thinking the same station will also cover this trial, but not sure. Just an fyi in case you're in Florida.

Jury selection ended last week--6 women, 5 of whom are white and the last is Hispanic or black. All are mothers except one. Zero men. Pure estrogen LOL. I think even the judge is a female.

I'm hoping we'll be able to discuss it civilly here. :)

Despite concerted initial efforts to circumvent, that's exactly what's going to take place. 1st amendment rights apply to ALL of us, including our president. I'd personally like to see all the haters "butt out" but they too share those same rights, so the rest of us are left to endure all their negative energy. They have no choice but to do the same when it comes to the encouragement a father who happens to be POTUS offers to grieving parents.

the son of parents in any of the numerous minority groups that have fallen victim to violence at the hands of self-appointed senseless vigilantes and/or those in positions to abuse authority, including my own. I don't see his comments any differently than I would had he said any of Sandy Hook Elementary School's children could have been one of his own. Sorry. No matter how you dish up this divisive dialogue, I simply cannot take offense on any level over the expression of parent-to-parent condolences.

Gates and Crowley are friends who have appeared together on Oprah. In the aftermath they even discovered they share a distant Irish ancestor. Crowley gifted Gates with the handcuffs used during the arrest and they both are able to joke about the whole thing and credit the president for bringing them together for a "teachable moment."

They all appear to have moved on without holding grudges to some really positive outcomes, so I fail to see the relevance of these vindictive comments.

Interesting the conclusions and ASSumptions this juror made in Zimmerman's favor. They did a whole day of going over the trial and testimony on HLN today. Just wondered if anyone here buys the defense story that the child drowned in the pool but because Casey was sexually abused by her father she showed no emotion and did not report it. This trial has just been going on too long. As with so many sensationalized things these days (too much in my opinion) it is just going on and on and on too long, with the hopes that a reasonable doubt is created on the part of the defense. Following this trial and listening to commentary there is very little doubt it seems that Casey Anthony murdered her child and disposed of the body. I think a lot of the bias is because she is a pathologic liar.
