Following this trial and listening to commentary there is very little doubt it seems that Casey Anthony murdered her child and disposed of the body. I think a lot of the bias is because she is a pathologic liar. Aside from the lying can anyone take a leap and think she may not be guilty of murder or that the state is not proving it beyond a reasonable doubt?

Does anyone believe she was molested by her father/brother which caused her psychopathic lying?

I heard Geraldo Rivera commentary and he seems to think she is "troubled" and the detectives bullied her into further incriminating herself. He is the only person I have heard who has expressed a degree of sympathy for her. Does anyone here have sympathy for her?

Who cares if she was molested? I am so sick of using that as an "excuse" to do harm to someone.

Plenty of people in this world were molested, treated horribly, etc., but they don't do horrible things to other people. Period.

Apparently the Casey Anthony defense thinks molestation - causes her to lie.

They are saying the child drowned accidentally and Casey and her father hid Caylee's death (?!?) instead of calling authorities. Because of Casey's history of being molested, she managed to go out and rent a movie with her boyfriend the evening of finding her adorable child dead earlier in the afternoon and she was partying with friends in the weeks following the child's death, lying about the child's whereabouts to her friends, mother and everyone who asked about Caylee, saying she was with Zanny her nanny. In other words she was pretending nothing was wrong because when she was molested she could pretend nothing was wrong.

For the record, I don't believe the story for a minute but that is the story defense came up with to save Casey Anthony. For the record, I don't think the story is going to fly and the attorney who came up with this should be kicked out of law practice.

She drugged her daughter with Xanax (Zanny) so she could go party or get a break from her, and she would tell the little girl "Do you wanna go see Zanny the nanny," so that she became familiar with the name in case someone asked, and then she accidentally overdosed her, placed the heart on her mouth, bagged and tagged her, drove around with her in the car until it started to smell, and then buried her and when the smell didn't leave the car, abandoned the car.

She convinced everyone about Zanny because it was true, there was a Zanny watching her kid (although the Xanax just put her to sleep so easy to care for), and now the defense attorney had to come up with something, so they took the old story line of drowning in a pool and are only blaming the father and brother of molestation to confuse the jury, because if one person falls for it, it will keep her from the death penalty.

SO SAD!

When Casey's car was missing, where was it? I am confused about the car issue. From what I understand, her mother's car was stolen by Casey but then found at an impound or something? But where was Casey's car? Cause the 911 call was when Cindy called and said Casey's car smelled like a dead body.

Casey's car was registered/titled under Cindy and George's name.

The car Casey drove was abandoned by Casey in a retail parking lot where it was eventually towed from. The tow company notified the registered owners that they had the car. It is suggested by the prosecution the car smelled like death per Cindy and George, Casey's parents, who picked up Casey's car from the tow lot. Many who believe Casey is guilty believe the child's body was in the trunk of the car prior to Casey disposing of it and that is why it smelled.

Prior to Casey's mother knowing the child had been missing for 31 days, Cindy Anthony reported a stolen car in order to get police involved in getting Casey to tell her where the child was.

and everyone has seemed to forget about the chloroform. It was not just Xanax, there was chloroform too, found at the scene with the body, and the car reaking of that, as well. There was intent to commit this crime, what with searches on her computer for how to make chlorofom, etc. There are so many factors that totally disprove the drowning theory, and I totally do not believe her father was involved in any way. They are grasping at straws, and Baez is outside posing for pictures and signing autographs! what kind of an attorney takes the limelight when his client is ready to get the death penalty. She may have been sedating her daughter so she could go out "to party," and she inadvertently over-sedated her. I think the duct tape and the heart was staging, to stage a kidnapping.

Casey is sick but smart. I am thinking it was intentional death by overdose after months of intentionally sedating her child so she could party.

There is talk on various shows on HLN that Casey had a huge fight on June 15 with her mother over the theft of money from Cindy's mother (Casey's grandmother) and from Casey's parents. Obviously Casey needed to support her lifestyle by theft because she didn't have a job.

Out of spite because her mother confronted her about the stealing on June 15, she overdosed Caylee, because she knew it would hurt her mother and she would have freedom to do what she wanted to, party. She met a guy, Tony Lazzaro, she could move in with but not while she had Caylee. Caylee was killed the day after Casey's fight with her mother because in her own words "she is a spiteful beitch" which her brother testified she said.

Because Casey is a psychopath she easily killed her daughter and has no remorse and it shows in jail visits, phone calls and in court.

PP is right. Once she got the kidnapping story as her alibi she staged the death with duct tape and hid the body.

Honestly she is one of the sickest people I have ever seen who presents normally, sitting in court, laughing with her attorneys. Can't believe her parents still believed her nanny story once her lies were exposed and they already knew she was stealing from them.

the night that the 911 call was made, he asked her point blank why she had not told anyone that the child had been missing for 31 days and her response to him was something like "because I am a spiteful biotch." To me that speaks volumes as to her demeanor to her family and to little Caylee as well.

Maybe she is fixing her hair and adjusting her clothes to distract whoever is in the witness stand, as well as the jury, especially if she is fidgeting only when the Prosecution is questioning? Defendants are coached how to conduct themselves. Or, maybe she's just nervous...about sitting in Old Sparky!

You will see this "tick" among many obsessive compulsive personalities. Have you also noticed how she keeps rearranging things on the table in front of her, wiping it down, cleaning it, putting pens and pencils all in a row, etc. Have seen this many times. It is a sign of the disease and she cannot help it, but yes, it is very annoying. I would like to tie her hands with duct tape and see how well she does with that. I haven't watched the trial yet. I did see the jail-house interviews between herself and her parents a while back. Her rambling was repetitious and vacuous, like "knock, knock...nobody home." It sounded like she was having a conversation with herself to convince herself of what she was saying.

was crying and would not shut up. She just kept taping her and eventually she smothered to death. Then she tossed her in her trunk, dumped her when she started to smell, then dumped the car. Definitely not mother of the year material. I hope she fries though she will probably sit on death row for 20 years before that happens.

I truly believe if it had been an accidental overdose of Xanax or accidentally too much chloroform, she would have at least had some reaction, maybe even a day or two of remorse? Freaking out? Something? No...she was out renting movies that very night. I think she'd been drugging her with Xanax and maybe chloroform too for quite a while...using the chloroform when she couldn't afford or couldn't get the Xanax. I think she chloroformed her and then taped her up, maybe in a rage after having the fight with her mother, maybe drunk or drugged up at the time a well. I think she stuck her in the car, thought about burying her in the backyard under her little playhouse out of some sick twisted way of thinking that it would really be a stick in the eye of her mother if she was out in the backyard the whole time. I think that's why the dogs hit back there, because she had laid her down on the ground there, changed her mind, thought it would be too dangerous or that she'd get caught or whatever, put her back in the car, finally dumped her body in an area she was familiar with and maybe an area she could get to and check on easily, and then abandoned the stinky car. It's just so pointless...those grandparents would have taken their little girl in a second. Did you see how they fixed up the backyard area for her? My grandson will turn 3 next month...about the same age Caylee was when she was murdered. I just can't imagine living through that grief.

Plus, the movie that she and her boyfriend rented that very day was about a kidnapped child or an abducted child (the plot of the movie was about something bad happening to a child). How cold-blooded that a ''mother'' whose daughter just died could stand to watch a movie with such subject matter at a time like that. This woman is unbelievable.

They did a whole day of going over the trial and testimony on HLN today. This trial has just been going on too long. As with so many sensationalized things these days (too much in my opinion) it is just going on and on and on too long, with the hopes that a reasonable doubt is created on the part of the defense. I have tried to catch a bit of testimony on a daily basis, though I have not allowed my life to revolve around this case. I find everything interesting and they cover it on HLN with all the professionals whom we have all worked with. THEY all have the titles, yet look at how nobody can even see a lie from the truth. When I heard the verdict, like almost everyone else in the US I was floored. It made me question the whole trial by jury, the validity of the judicial system and whether or not a person will ever be held accountable for this crime. Do you all think that 12 people who got to together to sit in on this case could all be idiots? I think maybe they didn't deliberate and came to a rash decision based on the fact they had been sequestered for so long and wanted to get home. I have followed this case since this child first went missing. Honestly I could not have been a juror as I feel that this girl is guilty, have for a very long time. The fake nanny, fake friends, fake job, fake trips to the beach, child missing for goodness knows how long and the mom is out partying and having a good time, how could she do it? Is it just me or does it seem like the Anthony's had a LOT of pets who died and were buried in the backyard? I think it will all depend on closing arguments and if all Jose Baez has is the drowning accident that was never testified to, the molestation that was never testified to, and stopped cold with no premedidation theory by computer searches that weren't done by Cindy, she may get the death penalty. I'm biased because I despise both Baez and Casey Anthony but I say she will be found guilty within 48 hours of deliberation and given life imprisonment. The defense case didn't even make sense and in the end they put George Anthony on trial - but for no known reason. How about Cindy lying on the stand? Nor did they have the sliightest understanding of circumstantial evidence. What is funny to me is when the jurors try to justify their decision, they end up hanging themselves with their lack of knowledge of the case and the rules of the case. Can't wait for next juror to speak up who contradicts or justifies decision based on misundertanding of rule clearly set out by Judge Perry. This year wasn't too bad for mosquitos until we got a bunch of rain recently & now it's a feeding frenzy!
