Do you know something the rest of us don't. All I have heard is him saying it's going to be wonderful but haven't heard any details. Please, fill me in.
He said everyone would be insured and the government will - pay for it! nm

only to change his mind a few hours later. So he's going to put national healthcare in? Well, if he does good for him but I think he has a whole Congress to get through in order to do that and we know how that will go. Do you have a link where he said this because I haven't seen anything of the sort out there.

You could try this one. Didn't Breitbart cover it? I think Fox did.

Insurance for all? Government will pay for it?? Where do you think the money to run the government comes from?? Taxpayers. You, me, and everyone else will have their taxes go up and care will be at the discretion of the congress. Insurance for all??? I am sick of seeing people with food stamps spend the money from my taxes on soda and candy, chips, and other junk food. This is just a welfare for all and we will all pay for it.
Of course our taxes would go up with national healthcare because it does have to be paid for, but then you wouldn't be paying a monthly premium for health insurance and no deductibles or copays. That is national healthcare from my research on it. I do not know any specifics on how much taxes would go up but I have always believed we should have national healthcare like most of the civilized world.
The welfare situation is a different story. I personally feel they need more rules and regulations on who gets it and who doesn't. There are millions of people who do need it and many are on there milking the system. Nobody likes the idea of more government but we need more people to be able to weed out the ones milking the system. We also need jobs for the ones who don't want to be on it but have no choice because they can't support their families with the lack of good paying jobs in this country. Some believe all welfare recipients are on there because they are just lazy. That is just not true, but I do believe there are many who are on it for that reason and they need to be weeded out.

while all this is going on? He can't create national health care by executive action. When are Trump supporters going to stop believing all his grandiose promises?

basically wants to go back to pre-ACA. I know many are against the ACA but the millions who benefited from it will beg to differ with you. I have insurance through my job and don't rely on the ACA but highly support it versus what it was like before. The ACA is a start but national healthcare would be better, in my opinion.
What you are saying is so true. Trump supporters must understand that even though wanna-be-dictator Trump says he's going to do this and that, he needs to have congress backing him and I certainly don't see that happening out of the republican congress. I would say there would be a much better chance if it was a democratic congress, but the Trump supporters believe everything will be wonderful now since the republicans have everything. I think you are all in for a big eye-opening in the not too distant future.

And then you - won't be paying

premiums, copays and deductibles. No fears though since we have a republican congress who wants to go back to the old way where millions are without insurance and premiums will rise at rates they were before ACA. I don't need a clue, I already know this is what we can expect from republicans.
We will still have copays - Get another clue

I am insured through my employer, full coverage and $20/$40 copays depending on the provider you see (in network/out of network), I think ER visits are around $100. For non-smokers and people who have gym memberships and other incentives, insurance is basically free for us. Regardless of the plan, someone has to pick up the cost, the "government" does not have that kind of money. My employer is big enough to self insure. Other people probably have insurance through their jobs that they are happy with. I personally don't want to switch and go on a government plan. If they remove the preexisting condition clause a lot of people are going to be locked out of health insurance. The ACA was a good plan, and didn't "everyone" have access to insurance? I don't know why they want to scrap it except that it was the democrats plan. What about keeping the best from the old plan and going from there?

to lose their doctor and a good plan that they may have had, or didn't you hear abut those problems? Some people have hada to travel more than an hour for an "approved" doctor. Men don't get pregnant yet have to pay for maternity and birth control pills. Women don't get prostate cancer or ED, yet are paying for that exam.
People aren't happy with their premiums and deductibles being doubled. So Obamacare isn't the greatest for many people.
Doctors aren't taking a lot of Obamacare patients and a lot of doctors have retired if they are at that age rather than suffer through Obamacare.
Did Obama ever put a waiver in for the tax on orthopedic devices which included prosthetics? How about the tax on brand name drugs? What if the drug you need doesn't have a generic yet? You'll be paying a tax on that brand name drug.
What about the workers who can't find a full time job because of Obama's restrictions on hours and number of employees?
Let's not forget how the "subsidies" have to be declared as income, just like Medicare Part B, which is a real ripoff. Some plans will not allow HSA (Health Savings Accounts) which are a great benefit to many.
Bet you didn't know this: Any executive (white collar worker) can earn UP TO $500,000 and still get Obamacare.
Face it. Obamacare isn't a very good plan. Many of the insured may be on Medicaid and not even know it. I'm not sure of that becase I'm not on Medicaid but you can look it up for yourself.

No I didn't know those things, I'm spoiled because I have great coverage through my employer, I'd still like to know what the replacement plan is. Geez, your reply was snarky, I really didn't know.
Well, I believe you - are correct

in that they don't want it because it is a democratic plan. A lot of it came from Mitt Romney's plan in Massachusetts. President Obama begged the republicans to help devise a great plan but they wanted no part of it. He even said the other night that he knows it needs work and if the pubs want to make some good changes and call it Trumpcare he doesn't care, just don't dismantle it and leave people without insurance.
The ACA is a good plan. Maybe it needs work and hopefully the pubs will get over themselves and just make some changes to make it better now so they can take credit for it. I personally think they are petty and playing with people's lives. Time to move on and do what's right for the country instead of acting like spoiled children.
I'm not - sure I

understand your "get another clue" comment. I was referring to national healthcare where there would be no copays. I also think the ACA is a good plan and just needs some modifying but feel national healthcare would be even better.

Beyond Excited!Sep 09, 2011 After debating back and forth between the Keurig coffee machine and the old-fashioned stovetop espresso machine, I finally ordered a Bialetti stovetop cappuccino maker. The fun part is, when it's all ready, when you pour it into your mug, it distributes just the right amount of espresso and milk to make the perfect cappuccino.
