Thought that might explain all the pink slips being issued, sending more of our work overseas. Corporate greed, plain and simple.
For anyone interested, I decided NOT to vote Green, as I could not sleep at night knowing that I had helped in any way, shape or form, this Mitt character getting into office and taking us back 50 years in time, at least as far as women's right go!! It's a no-brainer, especially if you have daughters! Hello!! For those of you who are so fond of him, have you forgotten, or are you going to deny what the last Republican president did to this country, and left for Obama to clean up? Let me refresh your memory, not that you obviously care, or you would not even consider voting republican this election.
Under G.W. we got 2 wars, maimed on 9/11, doubled our debt, cut taxes for the rich, ignored climate change, and let Wall Street screw us harder than we had been screwed in 75 years, and that is what this prez has been trying to clean up!

During his terms, my brother had an air traffic controller (goverment job) earning $101,000 a year. Dear Mr. Bush made the decision while in office to privatize that section of air traffic and handed the government contract over to Dick Cheney's Halliburton. Dick Cheney got the government contract and the money that came along with it. Those doing air traffic are now earning less than one-quarter of their original salary as govenment workers. As for my brother, during this time while still employed for the government, he got sick and could not perform his job and got federal retirement. Those other traffic controllers are now making $25,000-$40,000 doing the same work but now for Dick Cheney. That is privatization for you.
Republicans say they want smaller government, but only for me and you. They still want their government contracts so that they can make all the money and pay us peanuts.
