47%. Blacks, Hispanics, gays, women who want abortions and free birth control, will never vote for him. They continue to want their free stuff. All I can say, is we better get to work, guys, we've got a lot of extra mouths to feed.

This is what gets me about this mindset. The large corporations (meaning GOP these days) gut out middle class American jobs, literally yanking the financial rug out from under hard-working people overnight by off-shoring work and/or cutting American workers' wages in half to boost their bonuses and obscene "salaries." Then, when these formerly hard-working people are left scrambling trying to decide how to feed their children, obtain medical care, and basically trying to keep a roof over their heads and literally stay off the street, they get accused of sucking off the system. The far right set up this scenario. The irony is rich.

I don't want anyone's handout. I am willing to work and work HARD for my money, healthcare, etc.as I've done all my life. So, while I'm HAVING to go to school to move to something else that will hopefully pay a living wage IN THE COUNTRY WHICH I LOVE AND IN WHICH I LIVE, I'll just have to use whatever resources I can to get there. Do I feel guilty? Not only no, but HE** NO. I paid into it enough years as a hard-working American, and by golly, if I need to use it now because of the situation set up by corporate greed, then I will and no apologies to anyone. I don't want to be in the gutter making minimum wage, never did and never will, and shame on anyone for EVER accusing me of doing so. And, I feel pretty sure I speak for a great many Americans.

You know what? I'll stand slightly corrected. I agree that BOTH sides (both having been bought and sold by large corporate America)have brought this about. However, for anyone to tell me I'm sucking off the system because I voted the way I did is purely full of it, when I've worked my rearend off all my life AND paid into our system. Again, do I feel badly about using it to survive while I improve my own situation after all I've paid into it? No not one bit. This eventuality is exactly what we pay into it for and for what it was designed. I'm merely taking something out of the freezer that I put away through hard work all my adult life, so to speak.

Do I think there are "takers" out there who abuse the system? Of course; there always has been no matter who is in office. However, that figure doesn't even come CLOSE to 47%, and everyone knows it, nor does it include the people Romney said it does. That's just part of his huge disconnect that cost him this race.

And just to finish the point, this is NOT "free money" or services I'm using, I PAID FOR IT ALL MY WORKING LIFE and will continue to do so as long as I work. It's MY money to use.
