Speaking of gems...Obama can't say "hi" without a teleprompter. Posters on here cannot wait to rip on their party opposite, yet when Obama does his stupid S--T and it's pointed out, dem/lib posters on here need to be shot in the behind with tranquilizer darts. Good for the goose, good for the gander...just sayin' Now let the flaming/insults/hypocrisy, name calling begin! It's in your DNA!

So, Obama can insult people's faith, their constitutional rights, which he did when he thought he was off mike in my state (sneaky, back stabbing comments then had the cajones to ask for our votes), but by your standards that's okay. Spin any way you want, Obama is a horse's AS_, he's arrogant, obnoxious and constantly ridicules and insults people..try watching the SOTU addresses for starters. Obama nothing but a bully with a mike and, oh yeah, a teleprompter. Guess you'll give him a pass anyway.
As the old saying goes.... - you are entitled to your own opinion
[ In Reply To ..]
but not your own set of facts. Your post contains not one single instance where President Obama ridiculed the people attending events where he appears. For enhanced credibility, why not try being a little more specific about those alleged sneakey, back-stabbing comments? Otherwise, no pass and no spin is called for. You got nothing.

You wouldn't knew the truth if it bit you in the A$$.

You are so uninformed, never state a fact, only flame. How about putting some energy to use. Posters all over this board gave specific places where you could find Obama's "sneaky, back-stabbing comments". Guess that truth is killing you that Obama is NOT a god, but actually a human mightly flawed.

Wait, give me your address, I'll drive to your house (may take awhile since gas under Obama regime will probably be up to $8.00 by tomorrow). I'll turn on your computer, enter the needed info into your search engine, hit enter and you can pick whatever you want from the multiple pages that appear. Evidently, you're blind to truth by the aura of everything Obama. BTW - I'll post whatever I damn well please (and so will other posters), and YOU are certainly no indictaor of the truth. Don't like what you read, stop reading. As for me, if this aggravates the Obama worshipers, God bless...but then they all probably hate God as much as they all seem to hate the truth.

Ummm, about that lipstick on a pig thingy... - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
I hate to break this to you, but Obama did not coin that phrase, not by a long shot. At a November 2004 Bush re-election campaign rally in Honolulu, Cheney used the phrase in a 2004 stump speech when referring to John Kerry's plan for national security. "He's trying every which way to cover up his record of weakness on national defense. But he can't do it. It won't work...as we like to say in Wyoming, you can put all the lipstick you want on a pig, but at the end of the day it's still a pig."

Torie Clark, former press secretary for John McCain, former ssistant secretary of defense for public affairs under Rumsfeld, and communications chief under W published "Lipstick on a Pig: Winning In the No-Spin Era by Someone Who Knows the Game" in Feb 2006.

In an Oct 2007 campaign speech McCain used the phrase when referring to Hillary Clinton's 1993 health care plan. He used it again in May 2008 when speaking at a town hall in Denver about Clinton's health care plan.

In April 2008 John Boehner told reporters that Republican fundraising "sucks": "There's no other way to put it. There's no use putting lipstick on a pig."

Statements tend to take on a different meaning when they are lifted out of their context. In Oct 2010, during a fundraiser, Obama told the truth when he said the GOP had driven the economy into a ditch and then stood by and criticized while Democrats pulled it out. Now that progress has been made, he said, “we can’t have special interests sitting shotgun. We gotta have middle class families up in front. We don’t mind the Republicans joining us. They can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back.”

Personally, I have a hard time convincing myself that putting middle class interests above special partisan interests is somehow insulting. Sounds to me more like a president who has his priorities on straight.

It's refreshing to see a president who takes the statement, "The US does not negotiate with terrorists" seriously. Occupation and genocide IS nasty business. For the record, nuclear Israel does not have a leg to stand on with their saber-rattling against Iran. As long as Israel is nuclear and is run by blood-thirsty butchers and war mongers, every single Middle Eastern nation that the Zionists deem as their "enemy" has the right to develop nuclear weapons in their own self defense.

Fact is, it is not possible to comment further since you are still not willing to be more specific about which comments about Israel and at the SOTU Obama made that you find so offensive. Guess they forgot to include that in the Focks talking points playbook.

I'm not a flamer on here, but I grew up watching NASCAR (of note, it's an acronym that stands for National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing). Santorum's ad was on Tony Raines' car (which, FTR, finished 19th). Santorum bragged that putting his name on that Ford car was about as American as one can get (not direct quote but can find it if necessary), yet that car? Yeah...It's made in Mexico. I'm an educated old broad, yet I still watch NASCAR because I grew up loving watching it w/ my dad, and it infuriates me when people speak down to me about it. What sport do you watch? Indian Wanting Coffee:

An Indian ( American) walks into a cafe with a shotgun in one hand and pulling a male buffalo with the other. He says to the waiter:

"Want coffee."

The waiter says, "Sure Chief. Coming right up."

He gets the Indian a tall mug of coffee.....
The Indian drinks the coffee down in one gulp, turns and blasts the buffalo with the shotgun, causing parts of the animal to splatter everywhere and then just walks out.

The next morning the Indian returns.
He has his shotgun in one hand, pulling another male buffalo with the other.
He walks up to the counter and says to the waiter:

"Want coffee." The waiter says, "Whoa, Tonto!"
"We're still cleaning up your mess from yesterday. What was all that about, anyway?"

The Indian smiles and proudly says,

Don't be fooled by Romney's slick appearance. When he was in MA he messed up big time. He was even on Good Morning America's program - The Fleecing of America for his Big Dig project. He even had healthcare new rules that are biting everyone now in this economy, you don't have health insurance that is equivalent to what is needed in MA you pay for it in state taxes, not a good thing at all. Be very careful about what he says as he is known for flip-flopping for a reason, but that is just my honest opinion from living in Taxachusetts.

People on this board are so pitiful; they are pathetic. They slam everybody they can, all the time. You got Chuckie Cheese in the White House with no idea what he is doing with his OTJ training. Yet all they can post about is "proof, credibility, back it up", and they do none of that with their posts or use HuffPo or MM as their Bible; yeah, real credibility there. Media Matters flat out stated they lie continuously - if MM has the credibility the libs on here always say, why don't they believe that statement? Cause it doesn't fit with their talking points.

Look at the threads. When they thought Romney advertised on a foreign car, wanted to set him on fire. When poster listed Obama trolling around USA in Obama's PURCHASED foreign bus, not a word.

When Obama insults world leaders, bows to ME rulers (yep, check out the pics) not a word. Obama disrespects the military that give their lives daily to protect the freedom that allows Obama to be able to say and treat them with the disrespect he does, not a word. Never saw Obama enlisting his cowardly, sorry A_S in the military. One round would go off and Obama would crap his pants.

But heh, hang around with Farrakahn at rallies, travel overseas with old Lewis, carry on tight friendships with the Weather Underground, spit on our allies, libs/dems think Obama's cool. Obama is an idiot, no class, no common sense, openly employs and recruits Communists for the White House (if you're not too lazy, Google it); clueless only begins the description.

I give a lot of credit to Obama for apologizing. - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
We're not living under the Bush regime any more, thankfully, and Obama is trying to treat the rest of the world with respect, something they never witnessed under Bush.

Has America apologized for ripping apart the country of Iraq, based on phony evidence? How many soldiers and civilians suffered under this phony war that wasn't even in the budget?

Same thing goes for Afghanistan. We were looking for ONE MAN, yet we have killed an untold number of Afghans and American soldiers.

I saw on TV this morning a statement that America will NOT be involved in a war waged by Israel against Iran. I don't believe that for a moment. They may need to create a "false flag" attack, but we will be suckered right in, and I don't believe Americans have any patience for another war.

So Obama apologized. Good for him and good for the world, too. Obama is objective. Bush gave us 9/11. Obama is the man who is responsible for killing bin Laden because Georgie said bin Laden didn't matter to him and purposely ignored a clear opportunity to get him. Obama has a reputation for being objective, yet tough when necessary, and I like his foreign policy because we need to clean up our own back yard before we start bombing another country for looking at us cross-eyed.

But the Neocons are blood thirsty, and I know we'll get dragged in to Israel's war against Iran.
Obama - way off - Open a history book
[ In Reply To ..]
Bush did not give us 9/11. News flash; Radical Muslims hijacked 4 USA planes and flew them into buildings, one was diverted to the ground by passengers on the plane. Talking about REGIMES, guess you never read about Obama other than his praise book. BTW, our international respect has dropped mightily under the Obama regimen; check any poll you want. Obama has no foreign policy other than, why the world goes to hell, let's get together a basketball pickup team and afterwards, we can play 15 round of golf.

Try watching the CSPAN archives regarding the Weapons of Mass Destruction, but takes a lot of effort. COUNTRIES ALL OVER THE WORLD PRESENTED EVIDENCE AGAINST IRAQ. USA was not the only country in attendance. Intelligence was presented by UK, as well as other countries. But heh, you only want to blame Bush without any facts whatsoever to back it up. BTW, did you know that Gore blamed Bush for break up of his marriage...that is lib reasoning exemplified meaning they have none in case it was not clear.

And this is important because? - sm

[ In Reply To ..]
Listen...I'm not a Romney fan. I think he is just as fake as the rest of the politicians are...including both parties. I just think this is nit picking gone extreme. The fact of the matter is that most, if not all, politicians in office right now don't have a clue how us little peons live and are struggling right now. They are all out of touch with the American people...this includes those fighting in the republican party as well as President Obama.

I don't know how many times I've heard that there is no inflation and yet we all groan when we have to fill our tanks and when we pay for our groceries. What rich politician on either side of the aisle even considers the price....what's it to them. They are rich. They may stand on a soap box and talk about how Americans are hurting...but they don't really get it because neither party has done much to help us. They may pass a quick fix here and there but no long-term solutions for our problems.

Important because - sm

[ In Reply To ..]
I'm not defending either party, but I am sick of hearing how the Dems are so blocked and couldn't help us. The Dems don't want to help. One of Dems said today he wants gas to go higher! Yeah -he's really in touch. No matter what the House has passed, nothing has gone through Pelosi and Reid. Maybe posters on this board should stop preening Obama's wings and actually read the bills passed through Congress that were blocked by Pelosi, Reid and Obama. To quote Nicholson, "They can't handle the truth."
