First Casey Anthony Book on the shelf

Saturday I drove to Lancaster County here in PA to Barnes and Noble. I was walking around the bookstore just browsing when I saw a paperback book on the shelft, pink in color. Casey's picture was on the front. It's a picture of when she was at one of her court hearings with her hand raised. She was in handcuffs. The book is entitled "Mommy's Little Girl." I do not recall the name of the author, and don't even know if he speaks in Casey's favor, or to the contrary. I didn't even open it. There were three on the shelf. Under the title it reads "The tragic story and Casey Anthony and her daughter, Caylee. I was shocked to see something in print so soon.

[ In Reply To ..]so was written way before the trial. There is probably just more 'interest' in it now. It was written by Diane Fanning, who has written several accounts of true crime. This book has to do with the crime itself and not the circus of the trial.

[ In Reply To ..]She won't be able to find work, and I believe she has already been offered money for interviews- it is really a shame that because she was not convicted she can make money off of this- I for one will not watch any of her interviews (paid at least) and will absolutely not read any books she writes. Ugh.

When I heard the verdict, like almost everyone else in the US I was floored. It made me question the whole trial by jury, the validity of the judicial system and whether or not a person will ever be held accountable for this crime. Following this trial and listening to commentary there is very little doubt it seems that Casey Anthony murdered her child and disposed of the body.
