The Gab Board has turned into the Casey Anthony Trial Board! I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who is fascinated by this trial. Are you like me and have the TV on all day while working?

What are some of your favorite sites for the trial? One of mine is WebSleuths.

Do you think the Dr. Murray (Michaeal Jackson's doctor) trial in September will be as addictive?

My only interest in the Dr. Murray trial is the verdict. This is my perspective: MJ was not an "innocent victim"; he was a willful participant in his own demise; he died "peacefully in his sleep," in his bed, in his very beautiful home; he received a respectful funeral and burial; he has a history of molestation allegations brought against him. Now think about Caylee...and Nicole Brown-Simpson and Ron Goldman. The Dr. Murray trial lacks "armchair" Sherlock Holmes and "armchair" psychoanalyst appeal, as well as empathetic outpouring for the "innocent victim."

I've become totally "addicted" to this trial. My husband thinks I'm crazy, but then again when he comes home from work, he needs his "update."

Yes, I have the TV on all day while working. Ever since 9/11, I HAVE TO HAVE the TV on with the volume down. I just need to "know" what the state has against her that hadn't been reported already.

I live in the next county over from them and it has been in our news for the last 3 years (all of her pre-trial hearings). So like everyone else, I've been waiting 3 years to finally watch this trial and hope she gets what's coming to her.

The only other trial I've ever watched was the OJ trial. I don't think I'll watch the Dr. Murray trial but I'm interested in what the verdict will be.

I think yesterday or the day before was the first time I saw anything about it, besides here on this board. I can't tell you how disgusted this whole thing makes me. I was eating supper while watching the news and when I heard there were searches on the computer about chloroform and when they said breaking a neck I literally lost my appetite and threw my dinner away. I have never been so disgusted about this whole thing (not even OJ Simpson or Scott Peterson). This case is just really disgusting and that evil possessed creep just sitting there with no emotions about anything.

And her freakin family trying to get her off????? Are you kidding me? Have they lost all insanity? I don't have kids, so don't know what that parent/child bond is like, but when you know your child has murdered an innocent little beautiful child, you still want them to go free? Really? Is that bond that strong? I'm totally sickened by the whole thing. The brother was on trial pretending he's crying. Well you know what (as I screamed at the TV) - if your going to cry you might want some tears to come out of your eyes you (bleep)! This is just so past disgusting. The girl should get the death penalty and the mother should be charged with purgery. I don't know anyone who believed her saying she did the searches on the computer. Especially since she was at work.

I can't wait for this trial to be over. Hard to believe their are evil posessed monsters like her in this world. And the only thing she's crying about is that she won't be able to go to anymore parties.

Okay, now I feel better.

No I don't think Michael Jackson/Dr.Murray trial will be big - unless you were a big Michael Jackson fan

For me, the reason Casey Anthony's trial is so big is because of the "characters" involved (George, Cindy, Casey, Jose Baez) and Casey's unbelievable behavior after the death of her child.

This trial is a real-life soap opera with so many odd behaviors and events the story seems unreal.

brought on by the real Zenaida Gonzales of Orlando. This poor lady has been through so much because of Casey. She basically has been black-balled, saying that she ended up losing her job because before Caylee was found people thought that she had something to do with it, she ended up getting kicked out of her apartment, lost her vehicle, etc, etc. I heard that she ended up getting Zenaida's name from an apartment building that Zenaida went to look at because she was thinking of moving before all this came out and she had to sign in to a guest book.

Zenaida has a way better lawyer than Casey. Morgan and Morgan "for the people" (that is their slogan on TV) is the firm representing Zenaida and I hear they are GOOD!

They did a whole day of going over the trial and testimony on HLN today. Just wondered if anyone here buys the defense story that the child drowned in the pool but because Casey was sexually abused by her father she showed no emotion and did not report it. When I heard the verdict, like almost everyone else in the US I was floored. It made me question the whole trial by jury, the validity of the judicial system and whether or not a person will ever be held accountable for this crime. This trial has just been going on too long. As with so many sensationalized things these days (too much in my opinion) it is just going on and on and on too long, with the hopes that a reasonable doubt is created on the part of the defense. I think the defense team told Casey to keep the two long pieces of hair, one on either side of her head pinned back. Remember how she kept pulling at them and fussing with her hair over and over? Following this trial and listening to commentary there is very little doubt it seems that Casey Anthony murdered her child and disposed of the body. I think a lot of the bias is because she is a pathologic liar. Aside from the lying can anyone take a leap and think she may not be guilty of murder or that the state is not proving it beyond a reasonable doubt? Saturday I drove to Lancaster County here in PA to Barnes and Noble. I was walking around the bookstore just browsing when I saw a paperback book on the shelft, pink in color. Do you all think that 12 people who got to together to sit in on this case could all be idiots? I think maybe they didn't deliberate and came to a rash decision based on the fact they had been sequestered for so long and wanted to get home. I have followed this case since this child first went missing. Honestly I could not have been a juror as I feel that this girl is guilty, have for a very long time. The fake nanny, fake friends, fake job, fake trips to the beach, child missing for goodness knows how long and the mom is out partying and having a good time, how could she do it? If you were in George and Cindy Anthony's position and your child used the defense that she was sexually abused by her father (assuming that this is far from the truth and a story that I personally do not believe), could you ever forgive your child? Is it just me or does it seem like the Anthony's had a LOT of pets who died and were buried in the backyard? Our family always had pets growing up, but I don't remember them dying all the time and burying them in the backyard! I think it will all depend on closing arguments and if all Jose Baez has is the drowning accident that was never testified to, the molestation that was never testified to, and stopped cold with no premedidation theory by computer searches that weren't done by Cindy, she may get the death penalty. I'm biased because I despise both Baez and Casey Anthony but I say she will be found guilty within 48 hours of deliberation and given life imprisonment. The defense case didn't even make sense and in the end they put George Anthony on trial - but for no known reason. How about Cindy lying on the stand? Nor did they have the sliightest understanding of circumstantial evidence. What is funny to me is when the jurors try to justify their decision, they end up hanging themselves with their lack of knowledge of the case and the rules of the case. I find everything interesting and they cover it on HLN with all the professionals whom we have all worked with. THEY all have the titles, yet look at how nobody can even see a lie from the truth.
