Casey Anthony trial in my dreams.

This is the most fascinating trial I have ever followed and apparently millions are watching to see what happens to this crazy lady because there are reruns of the trial and commentary on the trial almost 24-7. The trial has infiltrated my dreams last night and I need for her to go away but can't look away while the trial is going on.

My questions

Did she kill her child? Why?

Did the child drown and she and her father covered it up? Why?

Did her father and brother molest her which caused her to have no remorse no matter how the child died?

How does she keep track of her lies?

Do those who know her best think she is guilty, like her mother, father, brother and Jose Baez?

Was she a problem child or did she just begin shady lying behavior?

What did she do all day if she didn't work? Why didn't she get a job?

If she is found not guilty, what will she do with herself? She is notorious and one of the most hated people I have ever read about in blogs, news, chat rooms. I would think her life would be in danger with or without a conviction.

How can she sit there in court with her lies and ugly behavior exposed looking arrogant and detached and what in the world does she whisper to her attorneys intermittently?

She has no conscience, which explains a lot of her behavior. I personally do not believe that sexual abuse, IF it did happen, would constitute a reason or excuse for murdering her child. Whether she is intrinsically evil, or just became that way, is a matter of great debate. I've heard some say that it was the man and his rule that Caylee not spend the night at his home, which led Casey to chloroform the baby. What man would be so wonderful so as to cause a mother to harm her child just to spend time with him? Again, she has no conscience and seems sociopathic in that her own needs are more important to her than that of her child or anyone else.

I also wonder what she will do with her life if she is acquitted. It wouldn't surprise me if she really thinks that life could go on as if nothing had happened. If she is not convicted by the jury, I pray that Karma creates a life of punishment for her.

From testimony I have heard Casey brought her child to sleep over at first boyfriend's house in his bed. I thought that was beyond tacky. If her second boyfriend didn't want the child to sleep over I think it was out of respect for the child. He had a small apartment with various roommates doing various things. Why would Casey want her child exposed to her sex life with her boyfriend and her boyfriend's roommates sex life?

No, you twisted what I wrote. I'm not blaming the boyfriend. I'm blaming Casey's reaction to what the boyfriend said. Instead of finding someone to watch Caylee or leaving Caylee with the grandparents, or simply NOT spending time with the boyfriend and putting her child's needs ahead of those of herself or her boyfriend, Casey allegedly chloroformed Caylee and left her in the trunk of the car. At least, this is what I heard on one news report.

I think she put Caylee in the trunk instead of having a baby sitter and one day accidentally used too much chloroform. Or on the other hand she decided to get even with Cindy and killed her. She is a true psychopath. Just watching her with the blank scare gives me the creeps. That poor baby as now they are saying she was still alive when she put her in the bags. What if she woke up for some reason? I don't think we'll ever know the whole truth - as the truth as Casey sees it is not reality! I see a mental institution in her future or a lethal injection (which is way too humane for her).

My theory is this: She accidentally gave her too much chloroform and the baby died. She tried to get a hold of her mother (who is a nurse) 6 times on the day they believed she died and Cindy had to be in meetings and/or ignored her daughter (they had been fighting) and now Cindy feels guilty too. However, I think she panicked, didn't know what to do, wrapped her in a blanket, put her in a laundry bag, then double plastic bags, but before that duct taped her mouth so no bugs would get in it. That is my theory on how she died. She kept the body in the trunk for a day or two and then put her in the woods close to her home. Then came the lies, the thefts, the partying, etc.

However, I do have a problem with the meter reader who found the body in August, called 911 and they sent a cop out who couldn't find the body even after the meter reader pointed it out to him, and then comes back 4 months later and re-finds the body again.

Question? Was he Casey's meter reader for her home? Did she promise him something for putting the body there? I would like to see him pursued further but it is not going to be because the prosecution does not want him called as a witness.

If they put Casey on the stand who knows what she will say and if she says anything will anyone believe her? If she told the truth now, I doubt anyone would believe her story. She makes up such elaborate stories and goes into great detail, there must be a medical term for this? Any psych transcriptionists out there???

I don't know what the meter reader story is but we will find out. I know the area was flooded from tropical storm. There is an interesting interview by Tim Miller of Equusearch who conducted the massive search for Caylee. My questions about Cindy, George and Lee - Curious

They get the bombshell opening defense argument that Casey & George covered up a drowning accident and part of Casey's behavior was due to being molested by George and Lee. At what point do they disown Casey? Cindy testified and after she got off the witness stand she mouthed "I love you" to Casey and Casey looked away rolling her eyes and looked displeased.

So it looks like Cindy can overlook the death of her grandchild, the lies, the thefts, the accusations and still love Casey. Do you think Cindy overlooked a lot while Casey was growing up and if Cindy would have gotten her help, she wouldn't have a daughter in prison, a dead granddaughter and 2 of her closest male family members accused of incest by Casey.

I would like to know at what point Cindy knew something was wrong with Casey and at what point she is going to admit she raised a Bad Seed.

Casey should have gotten help a long time ago when she started lying as a young child. Psychopathic disease is one of the hardest types of illnesses to treat. Usually how they exist is they have enablers i.e. Cindy and George. In my opinion Cindy tried tough-love a day late and a dollar short. Thus Casey lost her enabler and that contributed in an incident child getting killed. I wish there was better mental health help in our world.

I think Cindy was too proud to admit Casey was mentally unbalanced - and didn't get professional help.

It seems like she is still to proud to admit her daughter could kill her granddaughter and by ignoring all the signs and symptoms of Casey's issues she did contribute to the child's death. I could not believe Cindy mouthed I love you last week to Casey after she left the witness stand. It's like earth to Cindy. Your daughter killed your granddaughter, accused your husband and son of incest and dumped her body in the woods to rot while she encouraged you to keep looking for Caylee and for Zanny the nanny.

I agree Cindy was an enabler.

If she has an underdeveloped or damaged frontal cortex, that might explain a thing or two about her inappropriate behavioral responses to her inner world and outer world. I want to hear an expert witness in Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences interpret head-scan results.

Maybe that is why Cindy has been trying to cover for Casey. Cindy may feel guilty.

Oftentimes, it's just the decision they made for their own reasons. I think Cindy and George did right by this girl and she is the one who screwed up. Two opposite children in this family, so apparently they did something right to have at least one functioning adult child. I think Casey is just self-centered and did whatever she could to defy her parents. Not much a parent can do with a child like that, especially an adult child. Some people are just born the way they are.

Casey was STEALING from them and her elderly grandparents and Cindy knew this. I can't believe this deviant lying behavior started as a young adult. This is a character issue that if Cindy and George were paying attention may have been worked out when Casey was a minor child with counselling.

The family is dysfunctional. They still are hesitant to testify against this evil person who killed their granddaughter.

I think if Casey was called out and punished each time she lied as a child there may have been a different outcome for Caylee.

I can testify that my now adult child has both borderline personality and is bipolar and things were not worked out in counseling as a child. I can testify that there are even therapists who will dismiss a child from care because of lies the child tells, stating the child "is not ready" for therapy rather than accepting that lies are a symptom of the underlying problem. I also have friends with adult children with bipolar disorder and their problems did not go away with early intervention and ongoing therapy.

My personal opinion is not that punishing Casey would have lead to a different outcome for Caylee, but rather the grandparents not making themselves 100% available for her care rather than pushing Casey to be a parent. It is certainly a fine line to walk and unless a grandparent is also a psychologist, it is difficult to know what the right thing to do is.

Even with the wildest imagination no one could make this Casey Anthony stuff up. The twists and turns of the story were unbelievable anyway but then you throw in the defense theory of acidental drowning and cover-up with claims of incest. The wise old judge, the shady defense attorney, angry prosecution lawyers. Crazy. It's like watching an Anthony family train wreck.

you can see how desperate they were in trying to find Caylee. Many families are "dysfunctional". I grew up in one, but Casey is the proven liar, and she is an adult. It was also proven she lied to everyone including her parents for years about having a job, YET they actually believed Casey's nanny story. The parents are blockheads. So is the brother. The parents are oblivious and dumb as rocks to believe anything Casey said. So is her brother. Natural selection will take Casey out. George was going to commit suicide but failed in his effort. Maybe in retrospect they will realize how they may have contributed to Casey's state of mind that allowed her to kill her child but then again stupid people can't figure out cause and effect.

This trial has just been going on too long. As with so many sensationalized things these days (too much in my opinion) it is just going on and on and on too long, with the hopes that a reasonable doubt is created on the part of the defense. Following this trial and listening to commentary there is very little doubt it seems that Casey Anthony murdered her child and disposed of the body. I think a lot of the bias is because she is a pathologic liar. Aside from the lying can anyone take a leap and think she may not be guilty of murder or that the state is not proving it beyond a reasonable doubt? When I heard the verdict, like almost everyone else in the US I was floored. It made me question the whole trial by jury, the validity of the judicial system and whether or not a person will ever be held accountable for this crime. Saturday I drove to Lancaster County here in PA to Barnes and Noble. I was walking around the bookstore just browsing when I saw a paperback book on the shelft, pink in color. Do you all think that 12 people who got to together to sit in on this case could all be idiots? I think maybe they didn't deliberate and came to a rash decision based on the fact they had been sequestered for so long and wanted to get home. I have followed this case since this child first went missing. Honestly I could not have been a juror as I feel that this girl is guilty, have for a very long time. The fake nanny, fake friends, fake job, fake trips to the beach, child missing for goodness knows how long and the mom is out partying and having a good time, how could she do it? Is it just me or does it seem like the Anthony's had a LOT of pets who died and were buried in the backyard? Our family always had pets growing up, but I don't remember them dying all the time and burying them in the backyard! I think it will all depend on closing arguments and if all Jose Baez has is the drowning accident that was never testified to, the molestation that was never testified to, and stopped cold with no premedidation theory by computer searches that weren't done by Cindy, she may get the death penalty. I'm biased because I despise both Baez and Casey Anthony but I say she will be found guilty within 48 hours of deliberation and given life imprisonment. The defense case didn't even make sense and in the end they put George Anthony on trial - but for no known reason. How about Cindy lying on the stand? Nor did they have the sliightest understanding of circumstantial evidence. What is funny to me is when the jurors try to justify their decision, they end up hanging themselves with their lack of knowledge of the case and the rules of the case.
