Is it just me or does it seem like the Anthony's had a LOT of pets who died and were buried in the backyard? Our family always had pets growing up, but I don't remember them dying all the time and burying them in the backyard! Personally, I wouldn't have my 4 year old participate in a burial for the family pet in the backyard if the youngster was attached to it.
Do you think Cindy and/or Casey had something to do with their early demise? I read somewhere that some sociopaths torture and/or kill animals when they are children/teens. Isn't it kind of odd that these pets were all buried the same way and almost exactly the same way as Caylee with the blanket, garbage bag and duct tape? Isn't it odd that the cadaver dogs hit on a spot in the backyard (was Casey trying to bury Caylee like one of the pets)?
And did anyone else notice how matter-of-fact Cindy talked about all these pets? Her voice didn't even crack a tiny bit. If I had to tell how my beloved animals died, it would take all I had to not have the tears streaming down my face.
I'm probably over-analyzing this dysfunctional family, but I believe that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Why is everyone on TV suggesting the Anthonys did something to their pets? My family is on our fifth dog. We started having dogs in 1970. So far four have died. Nothing strange about it. What if you have two dogs who were litter mates? You might lose them around the same time, or within a year or two of each other.

I wondered how many dogs died in that house. I remember having 4 dogs that died during my lifetime living with my parents. A dog lives about 10 years give or take a year or two. I would be 20 years old by the time the second dog died. So that means they had to have at least 5 dogs at one time at least. Maybe a cat or two. But as she was talking about all the pets they buried I started to think; she just told on Cayce! I think I remember she said she would bury the animal with a toy and a heart sticker...or was I dreaming? That sounds like some kind of MO. Totally spooky.

Following this trial and listening to commentary there is very little doubt it seems that Casey Anthony murdered her child and disposed of the body.
