I hate to be Captain Obvious here, but even the article itself states those infractions, if proved, were performed by members of Obama's administration to include the Department of Justice - not Obama himself.

Even if we knew with 100% certainty Obama was directly involved in these infractions (which he most likely was)- where was your public outrage for impeachment when GW Bush did many of the same exact same thing with the passage of the Patriot Act, which he admitted direct responsibility for pushing through?

Did you even bother to read my thread below or were you too busy making sure the issue already presented in the thread below was in top view, that your voice was heard loudest and in being right?

Not all my Republican friends do that, nor my Democratic ones - which further proves it's not members of a particular party that behave this way, it's individual personality - and not unlike those currently in power from either party.

Serious! Make a series of calls and quote this article's list - they are the best parties to explain WHETHER or not THEY feel the charges are a) provable, b) worth the money, time, etc., to prosecute them.

I would print some of the info here but it was 20 pages. All three professors find Obama is skirting the law to the point that if Congress does not speak out now, but a couple items I am posting here:

Any solution, therefore, must also be comprehensive. For that reason, the current proposals should not be considered in isolation but as part of a broader package of legislative countermeasures.

The subject of this hearing is fraught with passions and politics. I do not wish to add to the hyperbolic rhetoric surrounding the current controversies. To be clear, I do not view President Obama as a dictator, but I do view him as a danger in his aggregation of executive power. .... The short-term, insular victories achieved by this President will come at a prohibitive cost if the current imbalance is not corrected. Constitutional authority is easy to lose in the transient shifts of politics. It is far more difficult to regain. If a passion for the Constitution does not motivate members, perhaps a sense of self-preservation will be enough to unify members. President Obama will not be our last president. However, these acquired powers will be passed to his successors. When that occurs, members may loathe the day that they remained silent as the power of government shifted so radically to the Chief Executive. The powerful personality that engendered this loyalty will be gone, but the powers will remain.

We are now at the constitutional tipping point for our system. If balance is to be reestablished, it must begin before this President leaves office
