President wanted our soldiers to pay for their own care

it is appalling. You love Obama, he could never do wrong in your eyes, I get that, you are always here saying in essence how wonderful he is. I get that you think he is great. I personally saw him say that when people are old they need to just let nature take its course. Did he shout it, no, just quietly made the statement. You love him, I do not and I don't trust anything about him, period. Perhaps his health care policies will one day affect your loved ones, time will tell.
According to this plan, I'm on the brink of FINALLY (sm) - Nikki

This is something that will definitely cause me to vote for his reelection.

This is a historical day. I just hope these politicians are on the right side of history.

criticism for it, as I'm sure he came under criticism for other reasons, as well. I guess that shows that he listened to the people.

I'm sorry, but if I can get healthcare with my preconditions if this bill passes, I WILL most definitely vote for Obama again. I at least give him credit for getting closer to healthcare for AMERICANS than any other President has been able to come for a very, very long time.

am opposed to it including all those of us who do not want to be a part of this government plan. It is going to harm us, older people, people who are satisfied with their insurance. This plan is taking away our freedoms, IRS involved, etc. I am opposed to this plan, they could have done better. I firmly believe this is about power and control of the American people and it scares me. Wait and see. This does not mean I don't want those who need health care to have it.

Please tell me, what cause do you mean? - anon

Score A Few Million For The Health Care PresidentApr 30, 2014
In the previous years before Obamacare went into effect, I always had on average 1 report a day where the doc would dictate something to the effect "the patient did not come in because he had no insurance,"  or "the patient had run out of her medications and could not afford to refill," or "the patient left AMA (against medical advice) due to lack of coverage." The first change I saw was: Between 2013 and 2014, I noticed that there were dictations where the comment was made ...

US Soldiers Disciplined For Stopping Rape Of ChildrenSep 21, 2015
My father, who saw some pretty terrible sights during World War 2, used to frequently tell me that bad things happen in war, but I don’t think he ever ran into anything like this. A story breaking over the weekend reveals that our “Afghan allies” have been engaged in a sick practice referred to as “boy play” in the common parlance. This essentially translates into abducting, imprisoning and raping young boys, keeping them as sex slaves. As if that wasn’t shocking enough, it’s appar ...

Obama Traded Lives Of Hundreds Of U.S. Soldiers To Get TheApr 25, 2017
Politico has revealed the true price President Obama was willing to pay to secure the nuclear arms deal with Iran. In order to do so, Obama dropped charges against Amin Ravan, an arms smuggler responsible for the deaths of hundreds of U.S. soldiers fighting in Iraq. Ravan was involved with providing Iran with components of bombs that Shiite militias used over a long period of time. This was known a number of years ago, but MSM never reported it until now. Health Care Reform-Question About Canadian Health CareDec 03, 2009
So....a friend is for our US health care reform (already retired and on Medicare) because he had no trouble going to Canada to get laser surgery on his eyes so he wouldn't have to wear glasses and states there is nothing wrong with the Canadian system....but, and I'm asking a serious question here, how long do people really wait for emergent surgery if they belong to the Canadian system versus the American system as we have it now? How did Canada get their health care system up and ru ...

Then the other couple of not so considerate siblings start... " ...

What if you saw an ad like this on Jobs Wanted: Old worn-out and partially deaf MT seeking unrewarding job with harsh work conditions. Prefer long hours and mush-mouth or Mickey mouse dictators. The king wanted to go fishing. He called on the royal weather forecaster and inquired as to the weather forecast for the next few hours. Upon seeing the king the farmer said, "Your Majesty, you should return to the palace! In just a short time I expect a huge amount of rain to fall in this area". The king was poli ...

At 10 Years Old I Told My Mom I Wanted To Be A BoyNov 07, 2016
I must have scared my mom when I told her I wanted to be a boy. Transgender issues were the furthest thing from my mind.  I knew I could never be president because I was a girl.  I heard this at school.  My teachers always gave the boys the most attention in class and I knew that the same opportunities were not open to me.  I even had to argue with my dad that I should go to college--there was no question in my mind that I deserved to go to college.  I saw the only thing ...

Was In A Medical Office Today - Wanted A Job ThereJan 28, 2013
"The lights were low" - no, this is not the beginning of a romance novel, it's how it was when I walked into this doctor's family practice clinic.  I felt really uptight - I don't have insurance, and was expecting the worst, some zinger of a bill at the very end, some fee, something they hadn't told me about. I need to buy some candles, wax warmers, etc., for my office and was just wondering about something. I know very high-end candles, such as Diptyque, as the very, very best, but can no longer afford such luxuries on my earnings. I'm hearing mixed reviews and just curious as to ...
