tried to separate the actually bill from the 85% pork added to it by the Democrats. Now, they are trying to claim the Republicans "withheld funding" to use as an excuse not to fund South Carolina, which is a conservative stronghold, since New Jersey is blue. Democrats politicians were standing on the bodies of the dying and the graves of the dead to pick our pockets. That bill included funding for commercial fisheries disasters for as far away as American Samoa. To claim republicans were against it is disingenuous. It was just the proposal of a bill filled with pork. Of course, everything is politicized these days. ;
