Some look every bit as devastating as Ike and Katrina.  The efforts by the celebrities to raise money are a real comfort.

;

It's a shame they could only get 5 celebs but hopefully, - backwards typist

they raised a bunch of money for their state. It's nice to see the celebs drop everything to work for a good cause.

Ummm, they crammed a few more than 5 - into a one-hour format

Jon Stewart, Jimmy Fallon, Sting, Steven Tyler, Christina Aguilar, Jon Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Bruce Springstein and the E Street Band, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Matt Lauer, Al Roker, Brian Williams, Kevin Bacon, Whoopi Goldberg, Danny DeVito, Tina Fey, and Ann Curry, plus various band members of those mentioned, all pitched in.

Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Jon Stewart, Sting, E Street Band, Mary Blige, Jimmy Fallon - Rod Stewart, Springsteen, Christina Aguilera.

etc., etc. Donations are still coming in.

It's a shame you could only offer an erroneous and negative comment, but hopefully, - by now everyone sees right through it

The veneer is wearing thin.

It's obvious it was put together quickly - alana

and that a couple of the celebs had to wait for our airports to open up again. The subways were only partially restored today and the ALL the railroads in NJ are damaged and closed with the exception of lines in the far southwest corner of the state. Half the NYC skyline was dark up until late yesterday. They did a great job putting that mini-telethon together under such short notice with more than 5 celebs.

Fox pooped all over the effort and called it an - Obama Telethon.

Clueless and heartless to the bone, even in the face of devastating death and destruction.

Not surprising. The northeast is Obama country. If it...sm - VTMT

Who's Politicizing Hurricane Sandy? This Article Is Very Clear.Oct 30, 2012
Former President Bill Clinton took a swipe Tuesday at Mitt Romney's position on climate change in the aftermath of the landfall of Hurricane Sandy, saying that President Obama's policies were better for the environment. "In the real world, Barack Obama’s policies work better," Clinton said at a campaign rally in Minnesota. Clinton said that Romney mocked Obama's position on climate change during the first presidential debate, although the topic didn't come up. "He ri ...

Who Is Politicizing The Hurricane?Oct 29, 2012
From the Washington Examiner 10/29/12: On the campaign trail in Waterbury Connecticut yesterday, former President Bill Clinton used the threat of Hurricane Sandy to warn voters of the importance of the election next week. “We’re coming down to the 11th hour. We’re facing a violent storm,” Clinton said according to the Connecticut Mirror. “It’s nothing compared to the storm we’ll face if you don’t make the right decision in this election.” ...

Prayers to all who are or will be affected by this storm, and stay safe.  I saw an email from the boss, and she wanted to be notified if you will be affected, did say good thoughts or prayers for you, just worried about the job, and it burned me, so I am asking for prayers for all of you.  Those of not affected by it will be keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers.  ...

DC Hurricane And Earthquake Message From God Aug 29, 2011
While talking about government spending to a Florida audience this past weekend, MB unleashed yet another inside track insight she gleaned from her direct red phone connection between herself and God Almighty.  "Washington, D.C., you’d think by now they’d get the message. An earthquake, a hurricane, are you listening? The American people have done everything they possibly can. Now it’s time for an act of God and we’re getting it.”  We are to take gr ...

Rain, wind gusts and it is very dark.  I live in S. Death in Haiti from a hurricane is "environmental racism." Some people are so stupid that they don’t know they are stupid. People that believe weather is racist fall into that category. Let's Get Back To Benghazi. Sandy Was A Storm.Oct 30, 2012
As I predicted, Obama (and his sycophants) would LOVE Sandy because it would take Benghazi off the front page.  However newsworthy Sandy might be, it has relatively little relevance to anyone's decision with respect to the coming elections.  Anyone can collect food, and anyone can fly around in Air Force One looking like the big cheese after a natural disaster.  These things mean absolutely nothing. The Benghazi scandal, on the other hand, is a thumbnail sketch of the genera ...

Sandy Hook Bill Had $60 Billion In Pork Added By TheOct 06, 2015
tried to separate the actually bill from the 85% pork added to it by the Democrats. Now, they are trying to claim the Republicans "withheld funding" to use as an excuse not to fund South Carolina, which is a conservative stronghold, since New Jersey is blue. That bill included funding for commercial fisheries disasters for as far away as American Samoa. To claim republicans wer ...

I don't even know how I came across this.  Some link off of a link someone posted below.  This goes to show why I will not watch MSNBC.  It was an interview of a 17 year old girl at the booksigning of Sarah Palin.  The first article is about how Nora O'Donnell arrived at the book signing with prepared notes to try to challenge Sarah Palin fans (why would anyone want to challenge people waiting to have a book signed by Palin - this is not an election, it's a boo ...

MSNBC Really Needs To Get A GripNov 05, 2010
I guess Matthews didn't learn his lesson.  His utter hatred and ignorance has gone too far and if MSNBC wants to hold onto any ratings they may have (which I doubt they have any), they better get a handle on this nut case.  He has got to be one of the most rude people I have ever come across.  How could I have been so blind to watch him for what seemed like forever when Bush was in office.  The guy needs to get on some meds.  First he invites a person on his show as ...
