1. Romney no one to talk. His take-over company bought up dozens of companies and then had to close them due to their own ineptitude, with the subsequent losses of tens of thousands of jobs. When this was disclosed, it was one BIG reason that he lost the election. He has absolutely no room to talk about business acumen.
2. If you try a lot of things, it's inevitable that you're going to have some failures. Better to try than to do nothing - or to buy up companies cheap like Romney and then close them down to sell off their physical assets. Romney profited...people lost.
3. You learn as much - or MORE - from your failures as you do from your successes.
4. If Trump's business acumen was so bad, why did Romney praise it - very specifically and very effusively - 4 years ago? Which Romney should we believe?
Bottom line: Mitt Romney has now become THE poster boy for the reason that people of both parties are utterly disgusted with the whole political process.

The standard Reps hate Trump and want to keep him from being nominated. That must have been a very interesting back-room meeting between the RNC and Romney to get him to do that.
