Okay, found my other hand

I found another website. Just as I'm going to be open minded about issues democrats proprose I am also going to be equally open minded abut issues republicans proprose.

Since I didn't see any posts below (and granted I've been out this weekend), I found antoher site equally interesting thought I would share.

I still feel same way conseverate, liberal and indepdent depending on what issue is being discussed.

But here is the other side I found if anyone is interested.

By the way, I thought whoever wrote the post of finding out who wrote the articles/websit is an excellent suggestion.

Honestly? I'm not impressed with them. Romney adopted - severely conservative positions and then

dropped those positions (sort of) and later adopted a new set that were mostly very close to Obama's when he apparently thought those were selling better. At the same time he was cozying up to radical social conservatives, including his VP choice, and to neocons in foreign policy, including putting them on his own foreign policy team.

The general views of this Dems for Romney group are close enough to my own, though not their reasoning in most cases. But bottom line, how anyone could feel they knew what this man was about and why they would trust him to come through in any particular way is beyond me. Especially when what they want is also essentially what President Obama and Democrats in Congress were already working toward. (And the Republican Congress specifically opposing.)

Of special note is the complete lack of attention to Romney's religion. Mormonism is a very socially conservative, fundamentalist religion, incompatible with most social positions held by typical Democrats, and Romney (Mr. "If you're going to have women working") is a devout Mormon, adhering completely, by his own statements, to its doctrines.

That's all I'd strictly require Dems for Romney to consider regarding religion, considering our current mindset that probing into religious belief is bad manners, even for someone running for Commander in Chief. Neverthess, since I'm on this hobby horse now, I would have liked them to consider that, as a devout Mormon, Romney believes the Second Coming is very close and that his duty is to prepare the earth for Christ's return. This isn't a secret. It's who they are. The Church of Latter Day Saints was created by God specifically to do this work for Him.

Given this larger job, into which Romney would have had to fit the duties of the President, what role might the prophets and other leaders in SLC have had in determining his actions as President? This could help explain the fact that he didn't seem committed to any of the "official" positions he vacillated among as he found expedient. (I learned to wonder about all this from his behavior. I did not start this election with these questions.)

BTW, looking back now, Mr. Romney's religious views and possible expectations for the future might certainly explain why he was so totally shocked and completely unprepared for the possibility that he could lose this election... For a pragmatic man, well known for his planning skills, this is very hard to explain. Until you consider the religion factor, and then a very obvious explanation makes perfect sense of his behavior. We'll probably never know, but I felt real sympathy for what he might be going through anyway.

With all due respect to smokers' rights, really, if you are walking for exercise at 6:30 am on a 1.7 mile running course (2 laps is a bit over 5k), please refrain form lighting up and smoking out all the runners? I have had CTS for over 20 years but a new symptom has me questioning RA or OA. I'm waking up with pretty bad hand and wrist pain, numbness and extreme weakness bilaterally. I could not even turn on the light this morning due to lack of sensation. It is most in the right (and I sleep on the right side) but in both hands. Last night I purchased a pie from a large chain grocery store that bakes on the premises and whose reputation is very good.
