You got to hand it to Donald Trump

Earlier today I was reading that regulars at the Indy 500 were really disgusted that Donald Trump had been asked to drive the pace car. Some had considered dropping out and others were trying to get him dropped.

Now it appears that Mr. Trump has decided it would be "inappropriate" for him to drive the pace car, because he may be soon announcing that he is running for President. I used to think he was fun to watch when he pulled pranks and talked endlessly about how great he himself is, but it has lost its charm for me. I used to watch his show, but it is so very boring to me. I think he has outstayed his welcome as far as I'm concerned. I really prefer not to be negative about people, but his behavior is disgusting. I think he 'fired' himself because he knew he was going to either be fired before the event or be soundly booed during it.

His show just continues to get more tawdry. I can't stomach it anymore. I watched several seasons and enjoyed them, but it has gone downhill. I'm ready for them to yank it, and him.

And tons of people are interested in it. I don't watch it myself. Not interested in it, but I know a ton of friends who do and his ratings are extremely high. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean nobody is interested.

instead of real people. The nature of the program was supposed to be about how to start and run a business. Celebrities use accountants and business managers. Why put them on a show like this unless his ratings were going down and/or the celebrities were losing popularity.

I think that may be why I stopped. I enjoyed seeing actual business people. Then it started being about celebrities, not just celebrities, but mainly those who are no longer successful, if they ever were. Even that would have been interesting, but they started making up for lack of talent by being vulgar. People can disagree with me about that, but that's the way I see it, and why I stopped watching it. I'm certainly sick and tired of Donald Trump now, but I used to enjoy the way he would walk around as if he were King of the World, trumpets blaring when he got off his fancy helicopter or walked through one of his casinos or into an exclusive charity event. That was fun. His children are beautiful and seem to be likable and intelligent. The show just got tacky and I lost my interest in it. He just got over-the-top otherwise, and I don't enjoy seeing or hearing him at all now. I think he has passed his success expiration date. It's probably stamped on the back of his head, and no, that's not a joke about his hair. I'm tired of those jokes too. Even if I don't care for a person, I think it's rude to make fun of their appearance.

I enjoy watching The Biggest Loser. I watched Dancing With The Stars until it was revealed to be so rigged that I lost interest in it totally. I watched The Apprentice for several seasons until it went tacky. I can't think of any of the others. Oh, I did watch America's Next Top Model until I burned out on that for lots of reasons.

The show was never about running a business, unless it was about running a business into the ground. I will admit I only watched pat of the first season, but the show seemed to be about making as much money in as short a time as possible.

Something tells me, a show about building a long term reputation for quality would not have good ratings.

The winner got a job in 1 of Trump's businesses. The making money part was because that's what Trump does....make money and he wanted, may I say, someone tough as nails and like him.

He did the same thing to David Letterman, who made some joke about him and then Trump canceled his appearance on that show. It appears that The Donald can dish it out but can't take it when it's directed at him. What kind of a president would that be?

Some of the answers were dictatorial, egotistical, money hungry, a fighter, and other terms I can't remember. So Donald is making a good impression on people, especially since he used the 'f' words in one of his speeches.
