I'm in my mid-30s and have been MTing for about 5 years now. I've noticed for the past 6 months or so that I can excruciating pain in my knuckles and hands in general for about a week or few days leading up to my period. It is the worst at this time but present to a lesser extent pretty much all the time. I can't go crazy typing anymore and have to pace myself. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions for dealing with it? I've tried ibuprofen, but it doesn't really help. It's hard to work like this. I don't know if I should go see a doc to see if it is anything more serious or not. Autoimmune diseases run in my family (type 1 diabetes and celiac disease) so not sure if I should worry about RA or anything like that.
