Conversations - do you speak with your hands?

When you are talking with your family and freinds do you talk with your hands (move them around to illustrate what you are saying). My DH does. In fact I don't think he can't, and there are times where he'll say to me "are you watching" and he wants me to watch his hands. Sometimes I have to stop myself from laughing.
I on the other hand do NOT talk with my hands. I tried it once and it felt very unatural. On top of that DH asked me what I was doing with my hands. Told me I looked spastic. LOL. But I don't use my hands at all. Except when I want to illustrate with my "finger". LOL
We watched a program once and they were talking about how kids who have teachers that use their hands to illustrate and talk to the students, the students were found to remember what they were told more than those who did not. I looked at DH and said...no wonder you never remember anything I say. LOL.
Anyway...just wanted to know if other people talk with their hands or if there are those like me who don't.

This is a silly pet peeve of mine. First let me say that I don't like the "turn around and greet your neighbor" in church where everyone shakes hands. I'm in my mid-30s and have been MTing for about 5 years now. I've noticed for the past 6 months or so that I can excruciating pain in my knuckles and hands in general for about a week or few days leading up to my period.
