What was your funniest prank in school?

I went to a junior high school that had been added on to so many times, there was often no way to get from one side to the other on the same floor without going down one level and back up another. Well, we had this tunnel going to the cafeteria. My girlfriend and I hated the principal so we decided to get even. We brought eggs to school and egged the tunnel going to the cafeteria then took off running to the gym. We were dying laughing. We were about 13 or so. We got away with it too.

[ In Reply To ..]The teacher came in, sat down, and started to play a hymn on the piano that we were supposed to sing along to. Only the piano didn't sound quite right. Instead of a melodious "plink-plink-tink", it went, "Plank-plunk-RIBBIT".

He went to Catholic school, and as a freshman in high school, he once installed a remote controlled f*rt machine under Father's podium in religion class. My son managed to set it off several times during class before Father realized what was going on. This particular priest was very young, still in his 20s and fresh out of the seminary. He called me on the phone, and even he had a hard time not laughing about it. Nevertheless, we had to form a unified front and my son served several days in detention plus had to do so janitorial work at school.
Another friend of mine attended a private Catholic girls' academy back in the 1970s, and she loved to tell the story of a prank she and some friends pulled off one day. They stole a fairly large statue of the Virgin Mary from an alcove in a hallway and left her locked in a stall in the girl's bathroom. What was disconcerting was that it took several weeks for the statue to be discovered, which made everyone wonder how often the bathrooms were maintained.
