Have you ever lost touch with someone you used to know and really liked for a friend, but so many other things like career, family, etc., just made it difficult to get together very often until eventually those times became less and less? It happens, I know, probably all too often. I met a gal in college and we managed to stay in contact for only a few years before life just got so much more busy for the both of us. The years went by. Now, I'm feeling just terrible after finding out she battled 10 yrs with lymphoma and passed away only a few months ago. This was such a vibrant and positive person. We always enjoyed spending time together. I wish we had been able to more often. I guess you never know in life. I just know this loss has affected me so strongly. If I can encourage even one of you out there who maybe has a long lost friend you've missed and just haven't found the time for whatever reason to get in contact again, I hope you'll consider it now. I may never know if my story makes a positive difference for anybody, but just thinking that it might means a lot...
