I found the almost pea sized nodule in my breast

I asked if others had faced similar and thanks for the messages. As soon as I found the spot I started calling for as soon as I could get in to see about a mammogram.I can self refer on most appointments but found out if you find something, not a normal mammogram and you have to get doctor referral. That was Monday, so today was my day off. Started the day off with early doctor appointment, had already found out that I could possibly be worked in the same day, same building, with mammographic office. Went there next, was told they needed the last CD disc where I had the mammogram prior (was not that particular place) so left there, went to 2 different places, got those, had the diagnostic mammogram and that was followed by ultrasound. The radiologist came in and said hematoma. I about 4 weeks ago went to the bathroom in the middle of the night, have French doors going from my bedroom to the bathroom and slammed my breast (OUCH!) into the door causing a really big bruise. That diagnosis was the best thing that happened today. Now he did say sometimes a person is injured only to find something close by that is atypical, and this I have certainly heard of. He said the spot not even picked up on the mammogram. He ask that I return in 6 months just to have a look again. Ladies, I was really scared in finding the nodule but went just as soon as I could and found out what it was. Thanks for all the input. ;
