Help please, need some gift ideas (sm)

I would like to get a friend's 6-year-old daughter something, but their house is small, and the grandparents tend to give quite a bit. Any ideas that will not cause more clutter? For example, for an adult, I could give cookie ingredients in a jar. Adult makes the cookies, tosses or donates the jar, eats the cookies, no clutter left over (except on the hips maybe).
