After my divorce in 1994 I started buying my own jewelry second hand primarily at pawn shops, on ebay, and from Craigslist since the retail markuup is 100% to 200% (and don't get me started about my niece-in-law). Hello all. Does anyone know anything about ultrasonic jewelry cleaners? My main question is do I need to buy the "detergent" with it? I was on the Internet, and I can't seem to zero in on that. The ads say "just use plain water," but then there's always detergent for sale with it as a bundle. Also, is there really a difference between a $30 one and a $50 or up one?
