You know that old saying that every time you pluck a gray hair, 2 more grow in?
Well, now that I've passed 40, I have the pleasure of chin hair - something I never had before. Good grief. Black ones too. Not those really fine white hairs. And I swear - for every one I pluck, 5 more grow in. My MIL says she shaves every day. My SIL and I pluck. However, I worked with a girl who used to work for a derm doc and she swears that laser treatment on those pesky chin hairs really works, but only on the dark ones (which is my problem). For some reason, it tends to be ineffective on the light ones. It doesn't cost much (under $100 total) . I just found another one further up my jaw today. I'm seriously thinking of having some kind of treatment. It's not like I have a beard or anything, just about 5-8 hairs on each side of my chin that I have to keep plucking. It's annoying!
Anyone else care to admit to this embarrassing problem and how they deal with it? Anyone ever had laser hair removal in this area?
Thanks in advance!
