with the cooks tasting their dish and then using the same utensil again and again sticking back down into the food? The dishes are usually made for more than just 1 person, i.e. serving out as a picnic, a wedding rehearsal, family gathering. I guess this lady who lives on the "farm" has her own rules. ;
When I'm cooking just for my family, I will sometimes - Love Cooking Shows!
[ In Reply To ..]taste and use the same spoon. We all live together, drink after each other, basically share the same germ pool soooo.... I figure no harm no foul.
Now, if I'm making something to take to a potluck or a bigger family meal like say Thanksgiving dinner, I would NEVER taste and reuse the spoon! And I hope no one else I know does either!
