I firmly believe in God, but find shows such as Ancient Aliens very upsetting.

It is very disheartening and upsetting that these shows are trying to disrupt the Christian world and poison us with their crazy theories about how life took shape on our planet. I must admit I was fascinated with their show, but realized it is an Atheist's attempt to make Christianity seem like a fantasy and that God really does not exist. These people are very clever and master manipulators of the truth. They are very convincing and I find it very sad to think they probably are converting many people to their side. They claim that man was made by aliens from outer space and all life was put here by alliens.

Certainly this seems ridiculous to say the least. I would like to hear what you people think about this.

proof of aliens than there is of god or gods. Even if the aliens come down to earth tomorrow, you can still choose to believe in Jesus, god, Mohammed or whatever you like. That's why they call it faith.

I believe God is the source of everything. That doesn't mean that God accomplishes things the way we might expect. For example, God creates us, but he doesn't assemble us limb by limb in a heavenly workship. Humans do the nuts-and-bolts of procreating, but *God* planned it that way. Just like sometimes I bake a cake from scratch, soemtimes I use a cake mix. *I* made the cake, but I did it a different way. Maybe the ancient aliens are God's cake mix! To me no theory invalidates God because God is in everything.

That makes me more comfortable with Ancient Aliens show. I still feel that this is produced by mostly atheists, who do not believe in God. It is pretty obvious the way they talk about aliens being responsible for our world and all creation. Kind of frightening concept!!!!

1. The producers have no proof. Theyare just speculating. They hit on a hot topic. Next season, it will be something else.

2. If there are ancient aliens, so what? If you are Christian, they are just as much God's children as we are. He loved them just like he loves you. If their work was to be here doing whatever they did, then it was God's work ifthat was how you got here.

3. People are led away from God for more reasons than TV shows. Drinking, drugs, abuse, hunger and homelessness come to mind. Focus on the things you can change. Focus on what is within your circle of influence. You can't do anything about TV because it is not something you can readily influence. It is just something that concerns you or disturbs you.

If there are ancient aliens, can you do anything about it? No. Do you need to? No, it is ancient history.

If there were no ancient aliens can you do anything about it? No.

You CAN do something about current social problems, though. You can also live your life in such a way that it gives glory to God. In that way, you can bring lost souls back to Him.

My question would be, where did those aliens come from? Having not watched the show myself, I can only go by what is here, but give me a break. All I know is that God is real and has showed himself in many miraculous ways. God is so good, that he allows us all freedom of choice and the right to our own thoughts. He's a loving Father who is willing to guide you, but only if you're willing to let him. I love God, and I love Jesus Christ and I'm not too worried what people think about that either. We'll see on Judgement Day if people's views are different. People just look for a way to give excuses for their ignorant actions. Well, I've said enough. I will stop now.

Where did God come from? Seriously, I am not trying to be controversial or put down anyone's beliefs, but this and how did the universe start are 2 questions that I have asked and have never received a definite answer.

If we knew that there would be no question as to the existence of God. I have spent the last 5 or 6 years reading and studying (on my own) various theologies but that is not to say I am nor would dare to consider myself in any way, shape or form an expert. But so far, in my quest, I can tell you that those are probably the 2 most elusive questions (or variations thereof) and while some religious scholars attempt to answer, many admit that we just dont know the answer. I can tell you this though, it is generally believed that God does not prove himself to us but conversely we must prove ourselves to God in order to attain God consciousness (a higher spiritual understand, or a ticket to heaven as some would call it). Also, a warning, and some may disagree with me...you often will not find God through "religion," although if you have no point of reference, it is a starting place. Unfortunately, oftentimes the "church" chases people away from God. I hope this makes some sort of sense.

Your questions are my questions also. That's why I am on this spiritual journey. I think we should ask these questions. I dont think we should ever believe something just cuz somebody said. I can tell you, while I have found many answers, the more knowledge I gain, the more questions I have. Its a beautiful (and confusing sometimes) journey.
