few days the US has exchanged some strong words with Libya and Egypt and there are now boots on the ground and ships close by. All you people who profess to be experts on foreign policy need to show your credentials. I am actually very proud of the way my president is handling this very dangerous and delicate situation and distressed that republicans and Romney are politicizing this national crisis. Believe me, Obama is working behind the scenes and not tooting his horn. I think that Romney should refrain from undermining him on the political stage regarding this particular situation until the crisis has passed.

the fact that he has no idea what he's talking about. He criticized Obama for a statement that was sent out by the ambassador's office 6 HOURS BEFORE the rioting began. They knew there was unrest about the video and the statement sent out was to try to ease tensions. What does Romney do? He claims it's an apology (wrong) by Obama (wrong) in reaction to the riot (wrong again).

As hard as the picture is to look at, with the way world events are shaping, there will be pictures of worse atrocities if America doesn't develop a foreign policy backbone and defend itself. Trying to appease a people who hates us and wants to kill us is naive and useless.

IMHO, NO media outlets, liberal or conservative, should be publishing photos. (1) It's cruel that the families MIGHT be subjected to them, (2) It's giving the terrorists the publicity they want.

We don't have TV or cable so don't watch the news. From the info on this thread, it sounds like only conservative stations showed the pix and none of the others did? Is that correct?

and there are a few that turn up if you do Google image search for Chris Stevens. Among those exploiting the photo are teapartynation.com, pumabydesign001.com (cons blog), nowtheendbegins.com (christian hate blog), and rightpunditry.wordpress.com. There was one link to HuffPo, but when I went there, I could not find the photo, so I am assuming it is embedded somewhere in another linked article or in the comments.

I saw 3 different things this morning that I am puzzled. I have had numerous "debates" with some of my friends and family on the democratic way of thinking.
