If the GOP takes away our insurance coverage after so many years of not being able to get it because of preexisting conditions, they will be making a fatal mistake. It will be the last nail in their coffin, which by the way is almost there anyway.

See, this is how it works. Obamacare was pushed assuming states would set up - exchanges, but many didn't and the federal

So when people become dependent (it's really Medicaid expansion) and the state wants to exercise it's rights not to participate, then people who have become dependent get made at the state. It was a perfectly executed plan by the Obama administration.

I vehemently disagree. Most people who can't get decent coverage are like us, working hard at terrible low paying jobs. Those in power have deregulated the economy to the extent that our wages are bad, our costs are high, we are lucky to even have any job, so now we are supposed to believe that for some reason we don't even deserve health coverage? Why?
What used to come for free with every job has been decimated and now we are made to feel it's our fault our wages are so bad, our fault we can't afford health care coverage. Nope. I don't buy that.

I have family members who are far-right Extremists who are currently busily reading her book and quoting from it as if it were the Bible, even though it's against what the Bible teaches. It's similar to the "If God loves you, you will be rich" crowd which I'll never understand. I've read the Bible through from beginning many times and it says nothing of the kind. People hear what they want to hear. They believe what they want to be is a fact and they will die defending their fact that really isn't, just because it sounds good to them. I have no earthly idea what they get from loving Ayn Rand's concepts because there's nothing to love, nothing to respect, nothing to idolize, and yet they do.
