Also have in common those that continue to spend and stick their head in the sand. Both spend more than GDP, both now over 100% (thanks to Comrade Obama), both have 50% or more on entitlement programs and/or govt. dole, both refuse to curtail spending or makes cuts....yeah....nothing similar at all....RIIIIGT.

The payroll tax supports social security, so any money not paid in now will have to come from increased taxes later; but I guess it's a case of immediate gratification instead of biting the bullet aimed at us in the future. No free lunch.

payroll tax cut was specifically crafted to protect Social Security by requiring the nation’s general fund to replace any lost revenues in the trust fund. The general fund, in fact, has made monthly transfers to replace the lost revenue since the holiday began, and Social Security hasn’t been touched. The proposed extension Congress is now debating contains the same protections.

Well, called my doctor's office again and they told me that my echo was okay. Still didn't have my CT scan of the abdomen and pelvis. Finally, we got the rest of our bedroom set. Never order from Cymax, as we waited 4 months, and they always had a different story and even lost our shipment.
