Palin needed to make SURE she hit the talking points those who are BANKROLLING her expected to hear: ENERGY (we gotta get those energy projects rolling or something along this line). She didn't need to be reminded of what "she" wanted to say - she needed to be sure she got in the 'message' of her sponsors.
Make no mistake Palin is no dummy. She is dancing to the tune of those 'whut brung her.'

For Palin defenders: At the SAME convention, she disdainfully referred to Obama as 'a 'charismatic (or was it charming?) person with a teleprompter.'
She lpretends Obama NEEDS a teleprompter in order to speak and/or answer questions - but conveniently disregards the recent forum he held with the GOP that was unscripted and televised.
So since she mocked Obama's use of the teleprompter - her using her PALM to answer prescreened questions from a friendly audience is totally fair game. Notes are one thing - crib notes for a simple question in THIS type of forum is really telling.
I hope SNL picks this up - come on Tiny Fey - grab a new wig and give it your best shot (ROFLOL).
