Palin book tour

Posted: Nov 16, 2009

With Sarah Palin out there getting so much exposure with unscripted answers, the conservatives may realize what a ditz she is and not nominate her for el presidente.

the masses wise up. I voted for O in 2008 because I didn't want the alternative in the White House or Palin as VP. I will NOT vote for 0 in 2012. If the republicans are dumb enough to nominate Palin, I will not vote for their candidate either. All I can hope for is that a viable independent candidate will come forth before 2012.

I would like to know exactly what is so attractive about Sarah Palin in politics. I don't see it.

with you on that one GP - emanon

I don't get it, either. I have never heard one intelligent thing ever come out of her mouth

Dont like Palin's voice, but country might be in better shape - with her in charge than teleprompter Obama..nm

This is one of the funniest stories by a so-called reporter that I have read in a long time.   'It's like following Princess Diana' By: Kasie Hunt June 3, 2011 09:14 AM EDT SEABROOK, N.H. — Sarah Palin’s bus is plastered with a mock-up of the U.S. Constitution. But her entourage — both the three-vehicle motorcade that includes the bus and the smaller, two-SUV version she uses for smaller events — hasn’t been very res ...

FACT CHECK: Palin's Book Goes Rogue On Some Facts.Nov 13, 2009
Sarah Palin's new book reprises familiar claims from the 2008 presidential campaign that haven't become any truer over time. Ignoring substantial parts of her record if not the facts, she depicts herself as a frugal traveler on the taxpayer's dime, a reformer without ties to powerful interests and a politician roguishly indifferent to high ambition. Palin goes adrift, at times, on more contemporary issues, too. She criticizes President Barack Obama for pushing through a bailout ...

The Shack -- I'm Almost All The Way Through This Book AndJul 14, 2010
was wondering if anyone else has read and what they thought.  Heresy or enlightening?  For a while now, I've been looking for a deeper, more personal relationship with God, but haven't been able to find it.  I hear testimony from fellow Christians about this wonderful relationship they have with God.  How they talk to Him and they can feel His presence and He responds maybe not verbally, but they "hear" Him.  So a friend, who isn't a churchgoer but spiri ...

A Book Every MT Should ReadJun 09, 2013
Nickel and Dimed by Barbara Ehrenreich. Since so many of us, of course, can no longer afford to buy luxuries like books, it's worth mentioning that your public library almost certainly will have it (though there's likely to be a waiting list, even though it was first published in 2001). For those who persist in blaming others here on MTStars who are struggling with our new working-poor reality, saying that the problem is their "attitude," another Ehrenreich book, Bright-Sided, also w ...

HBO/PalinMar 13, 2012
I not a Palin supporter policy-wise, (she's too polarizing for my taste), so I really don't want to watch it.  I do, however, admire her courage.  Besides, I don't have HBO - LOL. I'm just wondering what the point of this film is.  A hit piece done by some bitter folks who are looking to cash in?  Like that creepy dude (Joe McGinnis, I think) who rented a house next to the Palin's to write an "unofficial biography" that sold a meager 6000 copies ...

Obama Has The Book Thrown At HimOct 11, 2010
This is the astonishing moment a book was apparently hurled at the head of President Barack Obama during a campaign rally in Philadelphia. The flying missile narrowly missed hitting the President yesterday. It is not clear what the book was, where it came from in the crowd, or why it was thrown at Mr Obama - who did not appear to notice the danger. Duck, Mr President! A book narrowly misses Barack Obama's head after it is thrown on stage during a rally in Philadelphia today ...

Appalled At Book In B&N And Its PlacementJun 27, 2011
I am not a goody two shoes or a puritan, but  a Barnes & Noble I was in this weekend has the new book "Go the F to Sleep" at the very bottom of the escalator on a shelf so that when children are leaving the upstairs children's section, it is at eye level for them to see. I glanced through the book, was completely disgusted by it, asked for a manager, made my complaint and handed him the 7 books in my arms to him and asked him to please re-shelve them as I would spend my money elsew ...
