Krauthammer

;

Krauthammer is far too knowledgeable to believe - these were "leaks." He knows that

every word presented by POTUS and the Pentagon at this point is meant for the Syrians to chew on. If true, the purpose is going to be to move/frighten them to take some desired action. Our military might is fearful, after all.

Of course, warship positions can't be kept secret these days, certainly not from the Syrian military, rather fearful itself, but they, and Mr. Krauthammer too, would also be aware that absolutely NONE of what POTUS/The Pentagon is letting them "know" may be true.

This IS war after all, and information is power.

Notably, Krauthammer, contemptibly, is not sharing his knowledge with this readers, but feeding them garbage to frighten them into some desired action. I despise him for this behavior. For betraying those who turn to him for information.

Of course he knows that. Every leak that comes out of (sm) - OP

American citizens. It worked when the USA was (conveniently) attacked on 9/11, Bush jumped on it, started an illegal war, and now the world believes we have no credibility because of BUSH, not because of Obama.

I saw W on TV, opining how hard it is for a president to commit his military to war. I had to chuckle (rather, LMBO) because I don't recall Bush having any kind of problem deploying and REdeploying them ad nauseam, until many of them were broken, both mentally and physically, but he just kept working them like mules.

Oh, stop with the illegal war crap. He had approval - of Congress - does Bozo?

Bozo lazy Congress on vacay until 9/9. FYI - nm

But they are not coming back, as of today. And since when do Reps - listen to Boehner?

"Congress is still on its summer recess and is not slated to return until Sept. 9. Key House aides said Wednesday that they did not expect to immediately call Congress back into session."

Cause boz said he'd "keep them in the loop." B told - him that wasn't good (sm)

enough. It's an ongoing drama, as usual. I must agree though, B is a waste of space as well as Boz.

and read there were no WMD in Iraq. What did Saddam gas his people with? High octane? That's a site for wannabe flower children and old-time hippies. Now of the Gore ilk. Give me something real.
WMDs were characterized as a nuclear arsonal, "mushroom clouds" per Condi - remember? this is real.
[ In Reply To ..]
Please don't insult your own intelligence by suggesting the the WMDs were anything but nuclear in origin. I can link you to multiple sources where the war advocates insisted this was the case.

But no evidence I give you, including the fact that many Republicans concede that Congress was misinformed, will change your mind.

Cons believe what they want, including words from a supposed 11-year-old, so for you to believe absolute proof that Congress was fed lies is not a surprise.
Here's something real: Even Bush admitted there were - no WMDs.

So did Ari Fleischer, Darth Cheney and Dumbard Rumsfeld. Surely you don't still believe that fair tale. Come ON.

as a gradual withdrawal, which has seen the removal of the 33,000 "surge" troops by September 2012, an additional 10,000 by the end of 2012. It was US military commanders who wanted to maintain the remaining troop levels through the summer of 2013, with another large-scale reduction slated for December 2013 to January 2014, 4-5 months from now. Through the final 2014 phase, remaining forces will reduce to between 10,000 and 20,000, leaving only Special Operations and counter-terrorism forces, military trainers, and some support and security staff.

They ARE coming home. On schedule. I know. This must be a bitter disappointment to the haters, whose full-time job is to cast aspersions as far and wide as they possibly can.

Opinions - Is Drawing/paiting Something That Can Be LearnedMay 29, 2014
I don't know the word for it when someone can do something and it comes natural to them.  My mom and dad could draw/paint anything they wanted to.  I cannot, but I would like to.  Would like your opinions if you think drawing is something you can learn or a talent you are born with (think talent is the word I was looking for). Just wondering if it's worth it to try and learn or will I just be wasting my time and stuck with the idea that all I'll be able to draw is ...

2-year-old Kentucky Girl Accidentally Killed By Her 5-year-old Brother May 01, 2013
"A 2-year-old Kentucky girl was accidentally killed by her 5-year-old brother who fired a rifle he had been given as a gift, officials said Wednesday." Parents can be arrested for not reporting a missing child. It's not even legal to let your child drive a car without a permit. Yet, this sad, sad story is unfortunately way too common. We MUST start holding adults accountable for guns in the home. ...

HIgh-Speed Rail LinesNov 10, 2010
Click on the link to see where billions and billions of stimulus money would go for high speed rail lines. Note that 3/4 of them do not connect to the rest of the country.  They are mostly 'local' rail lines. At the bottom or side of the chart, you can click on each line and see the projected cost of each.   In my honest opinion, from reading some of the other newspapers and journals, most of these lines will be so fast, anywhere between 100-236 mph trains, yet only cut 1/2 ...

Marines Moving Women Toward Front LinesJan 23, 2013

Infantry battalions, however, will remain closed to women." ...

New Year's EveJan 01, 2011
Another year has come and gone.  We ended up going to the movies to see the Little Fockers.  It was pretty funny.  We went to the grocery store beforehand to pick up some snacks for today and then grabbed dinner at a fast food place the kids picked. Overall, it was a pretty good evening.  I went to bed about 11:30 (I tried but could not stay awake), but the kids stayed up till a little after 12 with DH.  After that, they went off to bed.  I'm actually looking ...

New Year's Traditions? Dec 26, 2013
Anyone have any specific traditions they do New Year's Eve or NY Day? Both of those days vary for us as we've gotten older. NY Eve we USED to do it up big, get all duded up, go to a banquet hall, dance, ring in the New Year with Champagne, leave after midnight. These days, we just go out for a quiet dinner with friends, or do a little thing at someone's house. Staying up until after midnight is optional for us these days, but we've been doing pretty good ringing it in. ...

How Is It Possible That A 76-year-old WomanFeb 13, 2014
Yeah, it's my mother. Maybe that says it all. She has told me she wishes she could change how she and my father parented my brothers and me when we were growing up. In the 60s and 70s nobody really thought about how to parent. They just did it, good and bad, so I'm dealing with the fallout of their choices just like every other person alive.  I think we've had the normal ups and downs, although my mother has been and continues to be a very critical, judgmental person, not jus ...

Ahh, Retirement In One YearMar 11, 2016
