Threats were made by the Tea Partiers, Sarah Palin had a target on the face of this woman (along with a few others) on her website, and Palin has certainly promoted "reloading" enough during her ample speeches.

From now, where I sit, this was done by a domestic terroristic Tea Partier, coming from a party that pretty much promoted this kind of behavior during campaigning, while promoting civil war.

This places a dot of dangerous insanity on our country, where the inmates are coming in charge of the asylum, and they are a very dangerous crowd.

anything to do with this shooting. Yet the left wants to demonize an entire party for the act of one deranged individual....it would not be appropriate to do that even IF that had been proven. There have been violent acts committed against Republicans too. Shots were fired through the door of Eric Cantor's office. The SEIU attacked and beat people during the elections. Do you see conservatives blaming the entire Democratic party for that? I have been trying to call attention to this for over a year, and all the right wing seems to do is turn a blind eye to it. They should have had better judgement. At least McCain told the nutty lady who said Obama was Muslim that she was wrong. Palin still denies that her "map" was inflaming. there is absolutely nothing to suggest that it had ANYTHING to do with this shooting. There are maps with targets on them on the net that Democrats made...whether crosshairs or targets, if the symbols are sending subliminal messages, either one could incite a nutjob. You are basically saying that only the right is doing it, and that is not the fact. When the liberal attacked the old guy over the health care bill and bit off his finger in the fray, do you think any kind of hate speech from the left caused him to bite the guy's finger off? The constructive thing to do here would be for AMERICANS regardless of their politics joining to try to put into place a method to recognize these nutjobs as a potential danger...all of these people, like this nutjob, were seen and interacted with every day by SOMEONE. He had been in trouble with the law in Pima County 5 times already and they even served a letter at his residence from Pima County College saying he wasnot to return until he had been declared not a danger to himself or others.

They are now saying he had already net Congresswoman Giffords in 2007 at a similar gathering and found her "unintelligent." That does not seem to me a word a tea partier would even use.

This man was deranged and there is nothing at all to suggest anything Palin or the tea party did contributed to this shooting. So why not do the responsible thing and blame the person who pulled the trigger?

What motivated him is his sick mind.

And I do think it is repugnant that people would use this tragedy to attack another person and in fact a whole group of people for this...which is the personification of hate speech.

This is for those who like and understand Keith Olbermann. It's about our occupation and war against Afghanistan. There's very little, if anything, that I disagree with him about. There isn't a whole lot of trust on this. Looks like an off duty cop, in an unmarked car, but wearing a uniform, saw 3 young adults on a corner. One took off running, officer made a U-turn and chased him, eventually on foot. Police say kid turned and shot at officer 3 times, officer shot 17 times. Others say kid was not armed.
