It's important for all leaders ... to say, 'Look, we can't stand for this," Giffords told MSNBC last March, when a window in her Tucson office was smashed after Congress passed President Barack Obama's landmark healthcare overhaul.

Giffords said she faced a deluge of threats for her support of the healthcare bill.

"We've had hundreds and hundreds of protesters over the course of the last couple of months," Giffords told MSNBC. "Our office corner has really become an area where the Tea Party movement congregates and the rhetoric is really heated. Not just the calls but the e-mails, the slurs."

That is nothing new. Once again, just another attempt to slander the TEA Party. I know pubs in my area of Ohio who have repeatedtly had their offices vandalized and lives threatened, and I doubt the TEA party did that. So, this is everywhere.

Seems like I remember a group of liberals outside the recruiting station in Berkeley CA making threats and slurs as well. As I recall, liberals called them patriotic protestors. Funny how it is patriotic protesting when it is done by liberals but it is slurs and threats when done by conservatives.

My husband and I are in the middle of a really interesting conversation after seeing the latest progress that Congresswoman Giffords is making. On one of the news reports a few days ago, we saw that they had removed quite a bit of her skull as a precaution for anticipated swelling. Now what?
