Gee, I wonder why - Einstein

The colleges and univerisites these days are clearing houses for nutjob liberals.

Tell me, you really did not know that?

So they prefer to - just stay stupid?

[ In Reply To ..]
That is a ridiculous excuse!

I would rather my children go to trade school - than college these days.

[ In Reply To ..]
days. At a trade school, they will learn how to do a job, and how to make money from doing a good job.

In college, they will learn how they (being white, and in one case male) are the prime source of evil throughout the world today.

Universities have become EXPENSIVE Marxist indoctrination centers.

This professor gets it and explains the cure...

Postmodern NeoMarxism: Diagnosis and Cure

Well, that feeds right into the Marxist - proletariat schema!
[ In Reply To ..]
Make sure you develop that proletariat for the 1% to continue to rule your children's lives also. How compliant of you.

My kids will always be able to work in a "trade."

Education to lead and effect change is the goal.

As to "Marxist indoctrination centers"---you really must give up the Alt-Right news sources. That is really warped, but feeds right into their dumbing down of the masses...so long as the right continues to follow them away from education.

I would propone that the Republicans - Are doing a fine job of

[ In Reply To ..]
Dumbing down the US by using brainwashing religion tactics.

Of course they do... - sm

[ In Reply To ..]
If you get religion, you never have to think again, never make a decision, just do what they tell you. If you go to school to learn and become educated, you will never STOP thinking. Just that simple.

That is a very untrue - statement

[ In Reply To ..]
Some of the most educated come from religious universities. I attended a parochial school for 8 years and when I graduated and attended public school, I was far ahead of my peers. That is an extremely prejudice and hateful statement you have made.

I was taught to learn without bias - I do not believe that is true

[ In Reply To ..]
In religious schools. In that sense the religious schools tell you what to think.

Many colleges have become indoctrination centers. - Every single member of the Weather Underground

[ In Reply To ..]
was indoctrinated in colleges. And years later after the dust settled and there were no more bombs to blow up, a sizeable number of Weather Underground former members went back to colleges as "professors" to train the next generation of communist revolutionaries.

Your children.

Journalism students were radicalized by - Howard Zinn. We could foresee

[ In Reply To ..]
that he’d be given access to spread his anti-American hate in classrooms from coast to coast?

colleges are controlled by the world's "intellectual yet idiot" class. - "intellectual yet idiot" class.

What we have been seeing worldwide, from India to the UK to the US, is the rebellion against the inner circle of no-skin-in-the-game policymaking “clerks” and journalists-insiders, that class of paternalistic semi-intellectual experts with some Ivy league, Oxford-Cambridge, or similar label-driven education who are telling the rest of us 1) what to do, 2) what to eat, 3) how to speak, 4) how to think… and 5) who to vote for.

But the problem is the one-eyed following the blind: these self-described members of the “intelligenzia” can’t find a coconut in Coconut Island, meaning they aren’t intelligent enough to define intelligence and fall into circularities?—?, but their main skills is ability to pass exams written by people like them.

With psychology papers replicating less than 40%, dietary advice reversing after 30 years of fatphobia, macroeconomic analysis working worse than astrology, the appointment of Bernanke who was less than clueless of the risks, and pharmaceutical trials replicating at best only 1/3th of the time, people are perfectly entitled to rely on their own ancestral instinct and listen to their grandmothers (or Montaigne and such filtered classical knowledge) with a better track record than these policymaking goons.

Indeed one can see that these academico-bureaucrats wanting to run our lives aren’t even rigorous, whether in medical statistics or policymaking. They can’t tell science from scientism?—?in fact in their eyes scientism looks more scientific than real science. (For instance it is trivial to show the following: much of what the Cass-Sunstein-Richard Thaler types?—?those who want to “nudge” us into some behavior?—?much of what they call “rational” or “irrational” comes from their misunderstanding of probability theory and cosmetic use of first-order models.)

Does that include Muslims or is this just another - dig at Christians and Jews?

I think a guy going off for a degree in engineering is probably going to get a wise investment. Beyond that with all the fake degrees and marginal areas of study, I would question the other 70% of studies.

I prefer God and his glory over anything man made. - The paradox in education is that evils

are increasing but people are more "educated." At one time in American history, the Bible was at the core of education.

Modern education is secular and rejects God. - Nothing new, they did 2000 years ago

The Book of Proverbs is full of information about the difference in knowledge and wisdom. True knowledge starts with the "fear of the Lord."
Fear means truth.

Education begins with the reality of God’s existence and the fact that He has communicated to us through creation, His Word, and His Son. As we learn more of God’s creation, our understanding of God’s wisdom and power deepens.

I dare you to say that about Muslims. Do they prefer - Allah over education?

[ In Reply To ..]
Go ahead. I dare you!

Political correctness alienates people because no one - can have their own views.

Look at abortion. If you don't believe it in, the left will drop you like a hot potato.

Liberalism is a religion.

Communism, by the way, is not really a type of government — communism describes a future classless society which results from socialism. There has never been a communist human society… yet… Because the word “socialism” is often abused by the major media-outlets, it is hard to explain the idea behind socialism without clearing the table by emphasizing what socialism is not: Socialism is not a type of government Socialism is not sh ...

And what is her crime?  She wants poor and disadvantaged children to have the same opportunities for a good education that others have.   Vouchers that follow the children to the school of their choice, thereby funding good schools so they can take more children instead of perpetually pouring more and more and more money down the drain with failed schools. This is fairly long, takes 5 minutes, but it is needed. Immediately after the election... He and Musarrat talked about what to do. He began investigating a job in Dubai.
