Inept, corrupt Alinsky education system under threat

Teachers, parents encouraging children to miss class and "protest" the recent election. "There will be no repercussions" - Oh yes there will be repercussions, but we won't see them for awhile. These are school kids, most of whom can't spell "protest" and who couldn't begin to tell you what they're protesting about except to regurgitate the garbage they're being spoon-fed (and they can barely manage to do that without stumbling over the words). These are kids whose minds haven't yet developed to the point of being able to understand the issues involved... ...but whose minds are completely vulnerable to poison. The assault on our children is very disturbing to me. .;

Public education system hasn't been run for benefit of students - since big Federal bucks came on the scene.

The money is siphoned off to outrageous administrator salaries, overpaid useless "consultants", bloated school construction projects, unnecessary staff positions, overpriced kickback purchase contracts, and any other scam that someone can dream up to get their fingers in the pie.

Meanwhile, the system cannot turn out graduates who are equipped or have the skills to take their place in the world's changing work environment so what do we do?

We bring in skilled workers from other countries on special visa programs.

You would think that the sheer magnitude of the con being played on the American public would be such that no one could fail to see it.

...but of course, that's whole the point of corrupting the education system in the first place, isn't it? Corroding the ability of the masses to think? Hmm?

Read the book "Crimes of the Educators" by Blumenfeld and Newman. - "Progressive" education founded by Dewey

Dewey puts the child, as an individual, at the center of education, and promotes the school as an agent of "community life."

If you can read this by Dewey and not experience a shudder of horror, you might wish to read it again:

"We must conceive of [schools] … as instrumentalities through which the school itself shall be made a genuine form of active community life, INSTEAD OF A PLACE SET APART IN WHICH TO LEARN LESSONS." (emphasis mine)

In fact, school is EXACTLY the place that SHOULD be set apart where children DO "learn lessons" - meaning that they acquire knowledge which, in some cases (how simply awful it is!) DOES mean the "rote learning of facts" which Dewey deprecated.

Knowledge is not child-centered. Knowledge could give a crap about your child. Whether your child might be a nacent musician or this child is a budding scientist makes absolutely no difference (even if we knew, which we don't).

THE JOB OF THE SCHOOL IS TO TEACH BOTH OF THEM HOW TO MULTIPLY TWO NUMBERS OR WHERE THE CAPITAL OF FRANCE IS LOCATED, regardless of whether they "WANT" to know it, what their "PREFERENCES" might be, or whether they think the information is "IMPORTANT."

The notion of child-centered education is ludicrous on its face, and the disgraceful trend in the outcomes of our "progressive" educational system relative to systems in other countries that DO understand the difference between "school" and "community agency" prove it.

Dewey was the worst thing that ever could have happened to education.

Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

Gain control of all student newspapers.

Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.

Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policy-making positions.

Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.

This has happened and is what we are up against.

Children being taught to disrespect our most basic - democratic processes.

No book concealed in the seat of my britches, however thick, would have immunized me from my father's opinion of that idea. And when he got done, he'd have likely reiterated his position to the school board.

This is Hillary's mantra. She believes in the everyone raising our kids instead of just the parents. They include our government and international government "groups."
