Politics board really sluggish

Posted: May 1, 2012

I guess the progressives finally got through and brought the conservatives into the light. Bright, sunny day. Course there are a few that only come out at night to drip, but we'll get them too eventually.

;

Nope - People realized how hopelessly hardheaded - and squeamish the Progs are

There is more intellectual honesty and stimulation talking to a brick than a prog/lib/dem. None have any common sense and have major retention difficulties regarding any truth or fact. Progs, Dems, Libs are a pitiful pathetic, misguided bunch of misfits - Just check out the OWS crowd. Ready, set, flame.

LOL.. and yes, caught some of OWS on TV, what - a mess with NO message except hate. nm

Wasn't OWS in SF - it was police and/or - corporate plants, dressed in black.

No arrests were made, no tear gas, nothing, even after they spray-painted a cop car. Now when have you ever seen THAT happen if anyone else does that.

Most live media is talking about plants.

Talk of the moment is the TANK that just rolled down the SF streets.

TANKS? How do you spell O*V*E*R*K*I*L*L???
Nice try, but it does not work. OWS is now full - of hippies and druggies.. not plants! nm

I read the OP's message and had to laugh. Just what message did she think was being "brought to light"? Hate? Lies? I think enough of us have learned not to take the bait. Last week or so the messages have been pretty disturbing by some. You sit back and think they really can't believe this crap they're writing, do they? You can bring up facts, but they have no interest in wanting to know the facts. Their world is more important to them they cannot see the big picture and how issues affect us too, not just them. I read an article that they believe they have found a missing (or one too many) chromosomes in liberals. Just wish they would come up with a cure to fix it. It would be a refreshing change to actually have an adult conversation with them, but even the older ones (people my moms age) have a hard time letting go of hate and blame and they just don't make any sense. So sometimes its easier just not too add to the delusional thoughts.

Okay, now I'm ready too. - 1, 2, 3 Got my fire resistant suit on.

Loved your post - Conservative

LOLOL! Great post. Just started my break and thought I would watch the local news. They were interviewing 1 of the 3 OWS that showed up for "strike day". When they asked what they were strikng for, all he kept saying was "Umm, umm, umm, because, umm, we want free, Umm. I had to check and see if I still had my headset on. Sounded like one of my ESL umm, umm, umm, doctors. This guy was totally incoherent, they went to a commercial for Depends; how appropriate. Now where did I put my fire resistant togs...LOLOL.

aww - dont

I was having a really bad day - you know, actually working - and I needed a good laugh :)

Oh sorry, guess I should have waited until nighttime to post my "drip." My bad!

ZVille - that's the difference between our 50.5% - and their 49.5% - We actually have jobs

and work, "dripping" with sweat to allow the 49-ers to endlessly troll this board, work free, stress free and "drip free"...posting nonsensical, factless posts. Hmmmmmm....think the OWS crew ought to start a protest.

Another Observation On The Politics BoardSep 20, 2012
I have been thinking how boring and pointless this Board has gotten in the last couple of months with the incessant Obama bashing and anything Democratic or liberal.   I noticed that apparently I am not the only one thinking this because next to each post there is the counter that says how often a post is viewed.  I notice that most original posts barely get over 50 hits and most secondary posts get maybe 10 to 25.  I did a random search of the achives and found that th ...

Transfers Of Posts From Politics BoardJul 20, 2013
While I understand the reasoning behind the moving of some hateful posts from the Politics board onto the Gab board due to the fact that they were not "political", I really do not appreciate them having been "dumped" into the Gab board either. some of us would rather stay away from the politics board due to the negative, horrifically snotty, rude, instigating posts made there by people with a propensity for hate and bullying. Now those types of people will "migrate" to the gab board just to co ...

Zimmerman Posts Moved Back To Politics BoardJul 23, 2013
My reasoning for moving the Zimmerman posts here was because most the posts were just people "gabbing" about their opinion of it and was not offering any political input.  I had figured that since everyone had been talking about other trials on the gab board, this is where the posts should go.  Then the posts started getting more political and the arguing and name calling continued and I don't think anyone on the gab board was happy about that. So as political moderator I have ta ...

politicians are the ones who tell their constituants what they want to hear even if they have to lie thereby leaving the honest politicians who tell their constituants the honest if painful truth out in the cold.  In politics, it seems that honesty is not always the best policy.
