Get rid of the politics board
Posted: May 29, 2017
Solve the problem by getting rid of the politics board!;
What problem and why eliminate a board - that is popular.

I think most posters come here for political board. Maybe moderator knows which board is most popular.
Topics we look at to catch on today's events - are nothing but nasty

mean remarks about the hate for the POTUS. The depth of disdain of the political choice of 64 million voters continues and that is what is so very odd about the political board on this site. It is beyond disturbing, it is filled with complete and utter hatred for a person non of you have ever met, and only will have to deal with for 4 years.
But you are right, moderate may enjoy the traffic but when you own a web site, you also know who is saying what, who "likes/dislikes"
The insanity is oozing out of a non-healing wound, including a university professor/afiliate who taught classes on philosophy and who snuck up behind a man and swung a large U-shaped bicycle lock (U-Lock) with a full swing, left the kid with blood immediately pouring out, medics, ambulance, admission to a hospital. Though masked, and in the background dressed in all black, scrutiny by several was so complete, he was identified and taken into custody by B PD with 2 charges - assault with a deadly weapon. A career ending event. It does not pass the sniff test, this over-the-top outrage. Seriously. It's a red flag alert that there is more going on that just politics. Members of the coup?
If the politics board.... - ?

I don't usually come here, but I can see the list of topic headings under everything else I look at and just happened to read this one. I don't care if I'm missed or not. Good riddance to this and all politics!
I was just tired of all the nasty comments back and forth on here. Can't stand politics or this board and won't come back unless something catches my eye. Goodbye to you, too, and you won't be missed either!
If you "usually don't come here", and "can't stand politics", - then why on earth would you...

Because of how disgustingly nasty people are to each other on the politics board.

you posted this thread. It's for the love of drama, as we already know it's not for the love of politics. LOL
Just quit coming here. That would eliminate it for you. - Simple.

I had mentioned quite a while ago getting rid of the political board because I didn't see what it had to do with medical transcription but it is not going to happen. So much of the information that is shared is based in misinformation and half truth that it is scary. However, it is possible to read without engaging. I agree, just read it and move on or don't read it at all if it upsets you that much.

Another Observation On The Politics BoardSep 20, 2012I have been thinking how boring and pointless this Board has gotten in the last couple of months with the incessant Obama bashing and anything Democratic or liberal. I noticed that apparently I am not the only one thinking this because next to each post there is the counter that says how often a post is viewed. I notice that most original posts barely get over 50 hits and most secondary posts get maybe 10 to 25.
I did a random search of the achives and found that th ...

Transfers Of Posts From Politics BoardJul 20, 2013While I understand the reasoning behind the moving of some hateful posts from the Politics board onto the Gab board due to the fact that they were not "political", I really do not appreciate them having been "dumped" into the Gab board either. some of us would rather stay away from the politics board due to the negative, horrifically snotty, rude, instigating posts made there by people with a propensity for hate and bullying. Now those types of people will "migrate" to the gab board just to co ...
Zimmerman Posts Moved Back To Politics BoardJul 23, 2013My reasoning for moving the Zimmerman posts here was because most the posts were just people "gabbing" about their opinion of it and was not offering any political input. I had figured that since everyone had been talking about other trials on the gab board, this is where the posts should go. Then the posts started getting more political and the arguing and name calling continued and I don't think anyone on the gab board was happy about that.
So as political moderator I have ta ...

ATTN: Trump dies in Jerusalem
Donald Trump-45 passed away on a fact-finding visit to Israel. While he was on a tour of Jerusalem he suffered a heart attack and died.

The American Diplomats huddled in a corner and discussed their options for a few minutes. They came back to the undertaker and told him that th ...

J.L. Bell at Oz and Ends counted the number of rumors about President G.W. Bush and President Obama that were identified and determined by rumor-validation site, snopes.com, to be true, false, a mixture of true and false, or uncertain. It turns out, there are a lot more rumors and a lot more false rumors about Obama than there were about Bush:
Jay Livingston summarizes:
