Mitt Romney is getting a little help from a reality show star whose gig aligns perfectly with the candidate's prime directive.

It's all about the jobs, or the lack thereof in the Age of Obama.

Mike Rowe of "Dirty Jobs" fame will campaign with the GOP presidential hopeful starting tomorrow in the crucial state of Ohio.

The Discovery Channel personality and Ford Motor Co. pitchman will offer his support Wednesday to Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney at a public event in Bedford Heights.

Romney's campaign announced the Rowe endorsement late Monday when confirming Romney's Cleveland-area itinerary for the final day of a two-day bus tour through battleground Ohio.

So he has to get an actor. Previous to this were employees who were told it was "mandatory" to attend (without pay BTW).

It's not surprising to me he can't get any real workers who actually want to stand behind him..but then again, they're probably in that 47%.

She stated he was a black Muslim, but now is backtracking and saying she was being ironic.

So now we're all supposed to forgive and forget that comment? (Leave it to the media). Yeah, she didn't mean it. Yet, if a Republican celeb tries to be ironic, they're comments are taken as truth.

I think if celebs want to be "ironic", they should do it privately and stay out of the fray.

Mike Rowe is awesome....I hope he does have a good influence on Romney's campaign. And as for Madonna - well she has never been a class act anyway, another exhibitionist always trying to put on a show. Never have bought any of her music, she is just trashy.
