Bring Back HempNov 26, 2012
I like picture of Ford with his hemp car.   I do think bringing back hemp would be a positive change in this country, considering it could be a huge industry, and it is useful for so many things. ...

So, Is Trump Going To Bring MT Jobs Back?Dec 04, 2016
He keeps bragging about manufacturing jobs, how about our jobs.   Every MT needs to send the Orange Buffoon a letter to bring our jobs back and stop off-shoring Medical Records.  Personally, I think it's all a big publicity stunt, but hey let's get him to pull one for us too.    ...

Bring Our Work Back, Trump!Jun 30, 2017
So I went to the White House website today and sent an email to President Trump regarding the predicament of MTSOs outsourcing OUR jobs to India, Pakistan, and the Philippines.  Couldn't actually include the "What is wrong with outsourcing?" post with this letter as only 2500 characters were allowed, so I did a little explaining and referred him to this website and the post in question.   If we ALL took 5 minutes out of our day to do this, do you think he'll hear us?   ...

Pot Luck Dinners - Bring The Food Back Home When You Leave?Dec 16, 2009
When you go to a pot luck and bring something, do you bring it home when you leave?I am from LI originally and I never saw anyone bring their food home. I originally lived on the east coast of FL and never saw people bring it home but I am on the west coast and it seems I am the only one that leaves the food for the host.Wondering if it is a regional thing. On the east coast most people are from NY or NJ and on this coast most of the people I know are from MI or IL. ...

Zimmerman Posts Moved Back To Politics BoardJul 23, 2013
My reasoning for moving the Zimmerman posts here was because most the posts were just people "gabbing" about their opinion of it and was not offering any political input.  I had figured that since everyone had been talking about other trials on the gab board, this is where the posts should go.  Then the posts started getting more political and the arguing and name calling continued and I don't think anyone on the gab board was happy about that. So as political moderator I have ta ...

Trump To Bring Back Churchill Bust Shamefully Removed From White HouseNov 15, 2016
NIGEL FARAGE has revealed that Donald Trump will re-install a bust of Winston Churchill removed from the Oval Office by Barack Obama - in a clear sign of the friendship the new President wishes to foster with Britain. The interim Ukip leader said Mr Trump has already pushed Britain to the front of the queue for a favourable trade relationship and added that he is the man to forge stronger ties with the US as he flew to visit the business tycoon in his first days as President Elect. Mr Fa ...

Discontented After ConversationsOct 08, 2013
Lately I've been noticing that after people tell me about their travel experiences I feel like I might be missing out on something and am unsettled about it. I do have places I'd like to see but have never been much of a traveler and am generally quite content to stay close to home. I don't really feel envious/jealous but sometimes feel like I should?!? Maybe I don't realize how small my world is and should be having different experiences? Anyone else feel this way? ...

Conversations - Do You Speak With Your Hands?Jul 01, 2010
When you are talking with your family and freinds do you talk with your hands (move them around to illustrate what you are saying).  My DH does.  In fact I don't think he can't, and there are times where he'll say to me "are you watching" and he wants me to watch his hands.  Sometimes I have to stop myself from laughing.    I on the other hand do NOT talk with my hands.  I tried it once and it felt very unatural.  On top of that DH asked me wha ...

Extreme Fatigue, Tingling In Back, Back Pain Mar 05, 2013
I know it is the most common complaint doctors hear - and for years I have had the stressed-tired-overworked fatigue - I know how that one feels.  But this has been going on a couple of months.  I am bone tired even after I sleep a lot.  My blood work showed I am hypothyroid so I started on medicine and also some supplements for that.  But nothing seems to be helping.  I have pain/fatigue across the area of my back right at the braline.  My arms and neck feel heavy. ...

Things That Bring Americans TogetherMay 08, 2011
I've been thinking about how Americans of good will come together and forget all their arguments, at important times and over certain topics. We don't tolerate child abuse, for example. Most of us get nauseated when we hear skin head rhetoric, LOL, and we want clean water. There are probably lots more, but I just happen to be thinking about those today. It's a good feeling when we (most of us) come together for good things. ...

If They Can't Outsource You To India, Bring TheJun 03, 2015
Instead, about 250 Disney employees were told in late October that they would be laid off. Many of their jobs were transferred to immigrants on temporary visas for highly skilled technical workers, who were brought in by an outsourcing firm based in India. Over the next three months, some Disney employees were required to train their replacements to do the jobs they had lost. The chairman of the Walt Disney Company, Robert A. Iger, is co-chairman with Michael R. Bloomberg, the former mayo ...

We Need Governors Who Bring Our Country Together, Not Tear Us ApartMar 10, 2011
Our country used to be bigger and better than this. I remember thinking back in about 2000 when I was at a big event that things had a different atmosphere, more hatred where we used to be able to disagree and still be friends. It was better recently, until these things happened this week. I'm discouraged and sad. I hope we can do better. I have people I love in both parties as well as Independents. We act like we're out there in the streets of _____(fill in the blank). I don't li ...

Bring Some Troops Home From IraqNov 13, 2010
From Mitch McConnell's home town newspaper. http://www.courier-journal.com/article/20101111/OPINION01/311110017 In his new memoir, Decision Points, the former president tells of a meeting he held in September 2006 with Mr. McConnell, then the Republican whip in the Senate. The occupation of Iraq was going horribly, American and Iraqi casualties were rising sharply, costs had mushroomed into the hundreds of billions of dollars, and Iraq was teetering on the brin ...

Not About Politics At All But I'll Be We Can AllAug 02, 2012
agree that no matter the party we all love to see our athletes competing in the Olympics, including Ann Romney's horse.  I was wondering what others here would say was their favorite part of the Olympics.  I love watching all the competitions but my absolute favoite is at a US Gold medal ceremony when they play the National Anthem.  Canada is also my very close neighbor and "Oh Canada" is a favorite too when the Canadians win. ...

From a friend... ATTN: Trump dies in Jerusalem Donald Trump-45 passed away on a fact-finding visit to Israel. While he was on a tour of Jerusalem he suffered a heart attack and died. The undertaker told the American Diplomats accompanying him, 'We can have him shipped home for $50,000, or you can bury him here, in the Holy Land for just $100." The American Diplomats huddled in a corner and discussed their options for a few minutes. They came back to the undertaker and told him that th ...

Breitbart Coordinated With Liberal Activist To Bring Down CruzOct 25, 2016

Marco Rubio (Fla.) and Ted Cruz (Texas), according to a new report. Aaron Black, an associate at Democracy Partners, which has been featured in undercover videos by the Project Veritas group, would often tip Breitbart off about the stunts he planned to pull, exchanging raw video footage for coverage, a sourc ...
