Any book recommendations?

I am thinking about going to the library today and picking up a book or two. Anyone have any recommendations for a good book? Thanks!

Michael Palmer is a great author, mixed medical mystery and politics. Just finished 'A Heartbeat Away' and also love Tess Gerritsen. right now reading Tami Hoag 'Secrets to the Grave' but if you want to read this one, read 'Deeper than the Dead' first as the one I am reading now is a follow up to that.

I love suspense books too and I really like Lisa Gardner. Her books do go in sequence though so you need to start out with The Perfect Husband and they go from there.

"Road Trippn" by Sean McLaughlin: A story of a group of young guys, lifelong buddies, who set out on a road trip together, the driver attempting to distract himself from the pain of a broken heart after a failed love affair. A very good story.

Lisa Jackson; but she also writes romance novels, and when you start on the mystery ones, they need to be read with her first novel first as it is a continuing series

I enjoy Karin's books - cannot wait for the next one - next month! I also read Lee Child, Harlen Coben, Carol O'Connell - to name a few of the lesser knowns...in addition to the above. Just finished something different for me, though, "The Glass Castle" by Jeanette Walls. It was excellent - a true story.

Janet Evanovich Stephanie Plum series - totally funny

Plus, there are 16 of them now... should keep ya busy all summer unless you are like me and dont put the book down till its done. I usually finish the book in 1 day cause I cant wait to see what happens.

My old 24-y/o Singer died Thursday. No idea if it is the machine or the pedal, but really don't want to buy a pedal to see. I am not a goody two shoes or a puritan, but a Barnes & Noble I was in this weekend has the new book "Go the F to Sleep" at the very bottom of the escalator on a shelf so that when children are leaving the upstairs children's section, it is at eye level for them to see. I've seen this episode a few times but I always like to be reminded of the protocol and procedures.I do wish people (not just people on this board) would watch America's Book of Secrets...there is one episode from 2010 that explained what happens with the essential government officials and what to do in case of an attack by our enemies. I'm mid 30s and this may sound a bit juvenile, but I LOVED the Twilight series. I could not stop reading them! I read when I get on the treadmill, so it worked great that I would want to read chapter after chapter. Someone recommended the True Blood series to me, but I couldn't really get into it. Someone then recommended the Vampire Academy series and I have just started the first book, but it seems a bit TOO juvenile for me. Please help, lol, my butt is ...

Finally got my hands on a copy of Game Change. I am really enjoying the behind the scenes look at the last pres campaign. All of the candidates are presented as real human beings - flaws and all. Interesting look at conflict between Biden and Obama, the whole Edwards fiasco and Hill and Bill. And, if you are troubled by Palin's inadequacies now, you will not be comforted by reading this book. ...
