Obama - wedding ring, etc.

Posted: Apr 24, 2011

Wedding ring  is in for repairs?
feel  free to pass this on!

Another  piece falls into place.
In a press conference last week Obama  was not
wearing his wedding ring nor was he wearing his watch
When noticed, his staff said his ring was out
for repairs.  No reason was given for the missing watch.

So it's just  a coincidence that Muslims are
forbidden from wearing jewelry  during the month of Ramadan
Can't possibly be that, because  although he
hasn't gone to a Christian church service since
entering the White House, we know he's a
committed Christian  "cause he said so during
the campaign!"    ...........And I've got a bridge to nowhere
to sell you also.

This is the same president that spent the
Christmas  holidays in Hawaii to avoid religious
obligations as PRESIDENT  at the White
House.   His children do not receive  Christmas presents.

Let's just face the facts and quit  trying to
tell the truth, we have a muslim for president
in  the White House, and he has no knowledge of American
history.

Hey guys, we're not paying attention,
Muslims will  soon rule the world.
Put God first in your life. above all  others.. Regardless of
who they are!

I suspect the post above was not posted by a Christian at all, but someone just trying to stir the pot. We get that from time to time on this board. Same thing with the "birther" posts. They post to get the fight going so they can attack anyone who comments.

I personally don't care if he is Muslim or Buddhist or Jewish or Christian. I don't care if he was born in Africa, Indonesia, or Hawaii. He is not a good President, does not understand the seriousness of the deficit, and needs to be gone back to Chicago in 2012 with his COLB and whatever religion he really is, if ANY.

Agree with "speaks for any group" - Obama is a lousy president. If any of you get the chance - watch "Inside Job" narrated by Matt Damon - where the rich get richer - and note the appointments made by this president and past presidents as far as deregulating financial systems - and you will see what has happened since that fiasco - it still makes me shudder to think of our secretary of the treasury, who conveniently forgot to pay his taxes for a couple years. Sorry for the rant, but this documentary should be seen by everyone in America - especially those who have lost their homes due to the way they were conned into believing they could afford mortgages way above their wages - another way the rich got richer. Will the banks get another bailout, I wonder?

That is a good film. I would never have chosen it myself but it was recommended by someone in my family. The Company Men is also good (non-documentary), a story about families dealing with layoffs and foreclosure. I agree with the last 2 people. I'm a card-carrying democrat but Obama needs to go. He inherited a lot of garbage from previous administrations but things are getting worse, not better. Whether he is Muslim or Christian is a non-issue.
Id love to see "Inside Job". Where can I find it? - Backwards Typist

As an aside, back when I was watching Glenn Beck in 2008-2009 (no bashing please-my opinion), he was the first to tie all the czars and appointments to destroying the financial markets and all the other crap that is going on right now but everyone called him a kook. MSM made jokes about him and called him everything under the sun....but he did warn everyone.

I doubt the banks will get another bailout, at least not until after the 2012 election. Obama won't take the chance in losing because of it.

I can't blame Obama for the mortgage crisis as much as I blame Clinton and FM/FM. They're the ones who decided it was everyone's right to own a home and started the whole ball rolling.

that Fannie and Freddie could fail...and in Barney Frank's now infamous words: "They won't fail. And even if they did, the government would not bail them out." Could he have been MORE wrong? Sigh.

Something to consider...I don't know if Obama is or isn't Muslim. He did live with his mom and stepdad for a time and was surrounded by Muslims. It does seem feasible that he could be. However, I think the bigger issue at hand is that our country is failing. Do I hold Obama at fault for it? Not entirely but I can honestly say he hasn't helped our economic situation. At this point I don't know who has the answers to putting our country back together. I wish there were someone out there I could believe in. Right now all I hear are a bunch of rich politicians from BOTH sides spewing rhetoric and pointing fingers. As far as I'm concerned, both republicans and democrats share the blame. I'll admit that I would feel MORE comfortable if Obama were a Christian and less comfortable if he were a Muslim. That is just how I feel...please no bashing me for it.

Obama needs to go. He is spending more and more money that we don't have. He refuses to let us drill for oil here but gives money to Brazil for them to drill there. He blames oil companies for high gas prices but yet he hasn't done anything to help lower gas prices. The conflict in the Middle East certainly doesn't help. The fact that we aren't drilling here doesn't help. Obama wants gas prices to be high so we cut back. The only problem with that is people have to go to work, don't they? Not everyone has access to public transportation to their job. Not everyone can run out and buy a hybrid car and many of them are too small for families with children in car seats. This is only hurting Americans unnecessarily who are already hurting. Until we have a feasible alternative fuel source....these gas prices are just crushing the American people. The rich don't care...they can afford it. I don't see Obama cutting down on his fossil fuel usage.

Not to mention him ordering air strikes on Libya without congress' approval...totally unconstitutional and IMO calls for impeachment.

Bottom line...I don't care what religion he is, what color is skin is, or what side of the bed he sleeps on.....he needs to get out of the WH.

Very well said. (nm) - Zville MT

It's the "Christian" Republicans that cheat on - their wives and who want (sm)

[ In Reply To ..]
to get rid of the middle class and the poor. Do you fit into either of those categories? If so, some of these "Christian" Republicans will see to your extinction. How can you support that? This is a time when we really should all band together as economic groups because we're all about to go down the tubes if these "Christian" Republicans get their way.

Seriously? - Trigger Happy

[ In Reply To ..]
I highly doubt that only "Christian" Republicans cheat on their spouses. No one is perfect and yes there are those who profess to be Christians who have cheated on their spouses. Some of them are republicans and some of them are democrats. If you despise Christian republicans so much, how do you feel about Christian democrats or is this another double standard like only rich republicans being evil and rich democrats aren't?

I'll admit that I've seen little evidence from EITHER party in regards to actually helping the middle class.

I agree that we are about to go down the tubes but there are many things that factor into that. We have huge entitlement programs that are costing us more than we bring in. We are spending a lot of money on illegal aliens. We are spending too much money on wars and many other things as well. I'm sorry...but it seems to me like BOTH political parties have plenty of blame to go around. Unlike you, I can see outside of my political box.

No politician is perfect. They all lie to get elected. They all make promises they may or may not keep. Some of them even cheat on their spouses. However, the idea that this only comes from one political party is utterly ridiculous and I would highly suggest taking off your blinders.

Let me ask you this. Did you agree with Bush when he went into Iraq and later into Afghan with the approval of a democratic congress? Now, do you approve of Obama's air strikes in Libya without the approval of congress? Just curious to see if you hold a double standard on that particular issue as well.

As to your crushing the middle class...when a country starts redistributing wealth, that is when the middle class of that country ceases to exist. The only classes left are rich and poor with the poor being totally dependent on the government. How can YOU support that?

Personally..I'd rather be self reliant without the government trying to tell me how to live.

Question...  Does anyone have their rings practically permanently stuck on their finger?  My wedding rings have made a dent in my finger (19 years!).  They don't feel uncomfortable at all ,they spin around and I can smoosh them enough to keep em clean,  but I can't really take them off without a lot of soap, oil and a great deal of effort.  I'm worried that one day I won't be able to take them off and they'll require cutting.  ...
