Tell us about your rings, and is there a story behind it?
;I looked..and looked..and looked..and looked. I ended up picking a thick gold band with a 1 carat marquis, a row on each end of small rounds, and a row on baguettes thru the middle. I believe it had 36 diamonds total. It was gorgeous. I loved it. LOVED it.
I was in the hospital this fall and had to have an IV started. I asked my Mom to hold it because it was in the way for the nurse to start the IV in my hand. My Mom put it on her finger. Right before we left she went to the bathroom and it must have slipped off her finger into the trash. On the ride home I asked her for it back and she gasped when she realized she lost it! (My poor Mom cried for 2 weeks over this!) We quickly drove back to the hospital but the trash had been taken (of course! just my luck!!). We went in the basement and sifted thru hospital trash for hours - very disgusting, thank goodness for gloves! We never found it. Either it got put into the compactor within that 45 minutes or someone found it and pocketed it. I filed a report with the hospital but no one ever turned it in. I had insurance on it thank goodness. I went back to where I got it and they no longer carry it so I haven't gotten another yet.
I can't tell you how heartbroken I am. :(
I love hearing the stories behind your rings!
